Having explained treatment and follow up for bladder cancer , my husband (84 )and I then had to contact the rooms often to see that he got said treatment . If we had been cognitively less than competent Im not sure what would have happened . Do not see this consultant without a supporter . Sometimes what is discussed at appointment is not what is reported in letter to GP and you could think you're going mad . Take your own notes of the conversation . . We think the hands on treatment is probably good ( oncology at JHC was excellent and not carried out by this consultants team ) but the dismissive attitude and cold affect made the experience extremely daunting and increased our anxiety and distress at diagnosis . We feel we have to see this through with this doctor but would never choose her again . Cant rate her clinical expertise which seems adequate .is unable to appreciate there is a worried and unwell patient ,a wife and family attached to this bladder . My husband is a mild mannered cooperative patient always courteous so there is no excuse for Dr V’s cavalier attitude .

Doctor Aleks has been my urologist since 2010 when I was diagnosed with kidney and bladder cancer. She is extremely capable and caring Doctor. I have recommended her to several friends and all have experienced exceptional treatment.

I have been experiencing pain on my left side for almost a year now and got an mri and found out I have a very small benign tumour. My doctor referred me to Dr Vujovic and I waited a few months and finally the day came for my appointment. I was so excited because I was keen to find out the next step and hopefully put an end to my pain. I sat down and the first words that came out her mouth were "your tumour is benign so why are you here?!" In a tone that said you're wasting my time. I said pain and she said my tumour was too small to cause pain so it must be caused by something else and that was that. Months of waiting and $165 to be brushed aside as if im nothing and her opinion is right. Just because something is true for 99% of people there's still that 1% which is what I'm usually in. I can lick my elbow so... not exactly normal lol so here I am still I pain, with wasted time and money going to get a second opinion. If you're thinking of seeing this specialist, don't..... I left a google review but it's not there. She has no reviews which is pretty suss. Not trustworthy at all

Dr Vujovic may be good as scientist / specialist. I wonder if she is on the autistic spectrum and if so, I would understand and withdraw my negative rating. If felt ignored, disrespected and abused.

Very knowledgeable and competent Doctor, she is in high demand but always tries to help when there is a problem. Staff at her surgery are friendly and helpful. Surgery was good and no complications post-op, and would highly recommend her.

Radical Prostatectomy 2009. I think she knew she failed to get it all because I never saw her again after surgery, it is back in a big way now, thank goodness for ms oxycontin.
