Fantastic doctor! Every time I see her I just want to hug her!

Best Dr. I've ever had. Dr. Mentz listens, she's calm, thorough and follows up.

I find Dr Mentz generally has a good bedside manner, but can be a bit dismissive and doesn't always get things right. For example, she diagnosed an ear infection I had as a fungal infection without referring me to an ENT (whom I later saw and who confirmed it was bacterial, not fungal). It's concerning to see some of the other poor advice she's given patients, though, based on the comments here. Overall, I have found her pleasant and supportive.

By far the worst part about dealing with this clinic is the receptionist. She's been there for years even though she is incredibly rude and impatient. I find the only way to earn her politeness and respect is to be rude right back to her! It's ridiculous, but it's the only thing she responds to. If you're a bigger person than me, by all means be polite to her, but expect to be treated like a second-rate person!

I felt very well taken care of during my pregnancy and appreciated her relaxed and caring attitude. Unfortunately, the advice she gave me about breastfeeding (give formula if things get tough, limit breastfeeding to 20 min per side and give a pacifier if fussy) caused major ongoing feeding problems and resulted in major stress, anxiety, depression, loss of confidence in parenting, and issues bonding with my baby that are still a major struggle months later.

My favourite doctor ever. Unfortunately only had her as a maternity doctor and couldn't keep her. She is kind, caring, a great listener, and is very thorough and offers practical advice. I always felt heard and well cared for throughout my pregnancy and after my baby was born.

Dr Mentz is a sweet and caring doctor . She helped me to get through my maternity journey smoothly 😀

Dr. Mentz is a fantastic doctor. But her receptionist is incredibly rude. When asked to book an appointment she huffs and puffs and asks if it is really necessary. When asked about appointment visit reason and you say personal she she gets mad at you and tries to deny you an appointment. I have also had her undermine my reason for an appointment claiming i don’t have any issues and everyone has bigger issues than me.
However Dr. Mentz makes it worth going. She is incredibly smart and caring and sits and listens to what you have to say. I could not say enough good things about her.

She has off and on days. Is not really concerned with finding the root of issues. She is very focused on weight even when you are pregnant and not very big to begin with. Incredibly condescending.

She is the most lovely doctor. She is caring and compassionate! Thank you so much! I would hug her but that's not COVID friendly.

Dr. Mentz is very knowledgeable, sweet, and efficient. She is very understanding and I was reassured every time I went and saw her during my pregnancy. However, the staff is not very good at booking appointments as there seems to be a lot of times when they are over booked, or double booked and you end up waiting an hour past your appointment time...for a five minute check up. The tone of the staff seems rude, but meeting Dr. Monica Mentz brightens you up again.
