Overall very pleased. When I see him he is very pleasant and helpful. Usually I see a resident (?) doctor, doing part of his/her training in the office and hospital, which is where the office is. This has always been a good experience, and I like the idea of seeing young doctors with various perspectives. The staff in the office is always efficient and friendly. Since they started a daily evening clinic that takes bookings on the day, I am happier too, as if I had the flu or a cold and felt I needed some care, I would want it on the day and not down the road. I am sure this sort of clinic would help to relieve ERs of unnecessary visits if generally available.

Dr. Todd Gauthier is the best family doctor I've had in years. With his background as a physiotherapist he has helped me greatly in the last three years.

Dr. Gauthier is a very well mannered professional, very comfortable talking with him, very knowledgeable, very explanatory on medical advice, caring towards patients needs, makes many lifestyle healthy advice ideas in many areas. takes his time with each patients. His staff are courteous, helpful, always service with a smile and compassion by all staff. Will make urgent appts when necessary! we are so blessed to have a caring, family Doctor & staff that goes the extra mile for patients in need. A wonderful addition to Pembroke. Truly Blessed. I I love Dr Gautier and mostly the Dr. assistants Jamie and Michelle. I think they are in their residency with dr. Gautier? please forgive me if I am wrong. Michelle has already saved my life and is going to be a magnificent Doctor! A few years ago in Stirling,Ont. I went to my dr. for sudden, severe weight loss,pain and fatigue I was crying as have been feeling like this for awhile and thought it was from overworked. had blood tests ordered,mammogram and ultra sounds, was prescibed anti depressants,and I begged for sick note as was wore out, went back for 2 follow ups nothing wrong in tests,changed anti depressants for third time,was told nothing was wrong but depression and I needed to go to work and he will not see me again until I talked to someone at mental health clinic.I moved to Pembroke worked 50 hours a week still feeling bad and now I weigh 100lbs. I was very fortunate to get dr. gauthier due to a mel;tdown from the way I felt. Michelle ordered all kinds of tests. nothing showed up.. I was so upset! I said well just give me anti depressants and the mental health number and I will be on my way. She said no I will keep looking and if we can't find out what is going on then will work on treating the symptoms. Wow I was relieved and so happy someone is finally listening. she ordered a cat scan. and there is a 9mm aneurysm high risk for rupture. I am scheduled for brain surgery! Thank you to Dr. Gautier and your team for saving my life

Amazing doctor....very kind and listens to you. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Can't say enough good things about him. Sadly he left the clinic in Bancroft and is only practicing in Pembroke now. A real loss in the community.

Dr. Gauthier is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, perfect bedside manner and is very caring. He does not make you feel rushed, and you can ask him a million questions, he will have an answer for each one and is accurate. One of the best doctors I have seen in a long long time. I trust my health in his hands.
