Has been of zero help in all the years I've seen him. Pretends he is listening but hears nothing. His procrastination and poor judgement has only compounded my medical conditions from the point of being completely debilitated and I am only in my 40's. Congenial and upbeat, but that is of little value in medical field. I can get that from one of the nice cashiers at Wal-Mart. Wish not to disclose further specifics for fear of reprisal as the office is run in a very passive aggression fashion...there is an array of practices and tactics used against those who question, many of which violate the bylaws as defined by the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons. As a result, I would prefer to not even bother making appointments and just take my chances. This review is self-censored and very mild in proportion to my level of unnecessary suffering and astronomical frustration endured. Words of advice to patients: do independent research on your medical condition so you can avoid walking into a disaster. Secondly, familiarize yourself with the regulations physians must adhere to so you know your rights...knowledge is power.

Best doctor I ever had and I'm in my 70's! Unfortunately the secret is out (how great a doctor he is) so it's getting harder to have an appointment with him rather than his residents. Still, I'm glad to be under his care.

In the dictionary, under the definition of “family doctor”, you wii find the name of Dr. Todd Gauthier. Five words that describe him would be caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, progressive and professional. I appreciate his listening skills and the way he values my opinion; making the relationship a true partnership in terms of my health care. His support staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive, especially when it comes to following up with specialists referrals. Finally, Dr. Gauthier should be commended on his leadership with Pembroke Hospital’s affiliation with the University of Ottawa as a teaching hospital.

Dr. Todd Gauthier is very naulegeable he is the best doctor l have ever had.

So far my experiences have been not great and very disappointed with the care. Doesn't follow up when he says he will, front staff make excuses for mix ups, takes weeks if not months to see actual Dr Gauthier, and have more. I wish I could change doctor to one who has the time and follow through with his patients.

Very caring and compassionate doctor and staff. He is a doctor that will actually listen to any medical issues you have, and not rush you out the door. Also great to know that he was a prior physiotherapist with hands-on experience.
