My husband was referred to this Dr for low iron and hemoglobin. He sat across from us and told us that yes he is bleeding internally but no further testing was done. Turns out that my husband has stage 4 terminal cancer. My resentment is that it could have been caught before catastrophic episode that we had.

Dr Purdon was okay in actual appointment, although had not clearly reviewed my referral and in turn ended up asking some questions that were triggering. He was very helpful at testing for related disorders and called me in the evening to give me the results I was positive and then quickly advocated for additional referrals and tests. His receptionist is amazing and very helpful and kind

Great doctor. Very thorough , punctual and caring. Office staff are excellent. Very organized. Keeps track of you and follows up. Helps manage my diabetes.

Dr. Purdon is a fantastic endocrinologist and his staff are also excellent. He is kind and compassionate and has made going through tough health issues a little bit more bareable.

I was with Dr. Purdon for about a year for transgender HRT and related care. He was extremely informative, addressed all my questions, and made me feel like I had all the information I could possibly want. His staff are also incredibly kind and helped me transfer to a new endo (moving cities, else wise, I would stay with Dr. Purdon).

I have had Dr. Purdon as my endocrinologist for about 25 yrs. If there was a rating score above "5", he and his staff would receive it in all categories. His new receptionist is friendly and most competent. My most recent test bookings were arranged within a couple of hours. Thanks for always being there for me, Dr. Purdon. Guelph is truly blessed.

I have had Type 1 Diabetes since 2000. When I asked Dr. Purdon to complete disability tax credit forms he told me I didn't qualify. New Dr. has completed and I do in fact qualify. I can go back 10yrs on my tax return however I have missed out on 10 years of tax credit as a result.

Dr Purdon’s secretary is lovely and so very easy to talk to and Dr Purdon is extremely thorough and fully fills you in on any concerns either you or he has.

The doctor is amazing ! The receptionist is super friendly but it’s almost impossible to get through to the phones to be able to book an appointment. !
