She is caring and nice person. I feel very comfortable when I attend my appointment with her. She describe about my condition and options of treatments thoroughly.

Dr. Shaoyee Yao is a very kind and helpful physician, she takes the time to listen and I've rarely felt rushed in her presence. Having an autoimmune disease, which affects my kidneys, at such a young age, is a very hard condition to deal with. But I am glad I have Dr. Yao in my corner. I do wish the medical profession had more than just drugs to treat conditions like this, which I have been resistant to, but at least Dr. Yao is very knowledgeable about what she does, and is willing to go to bat for me. What a pleasure to deal with Dr Yao she just puts you at ease just by being there, very caring and follows up with her patients. I am not easy to get along with but when I see her, I know I am in good hands.

A real pleasure to deal with. Very knowledgeable & easy to talk to.. I have never dealt with her office staff but I know people who do & they are not very nice.

Being a patient of hers is a lesson in futility. Receptionist is rude and condescending (according to other nurses as well). Yao is impossible to reach by email or phone. Should have changed doctors at the beginning, I would have been treated, and not maintained.

Very professional. Talks to you with excellent eye contact, which is a bit rare. Really works hard to find what you need.

Love Dr. Yao! Positive, supportive, and respectful. Clearly likes her work. Never dismissive. Listens and responds. Tracked all my concerns and sent me for appropriate tests, etc. Was careful to explain everything thoroughly without being condescending. A really great experience.
