If I could her zero stars I would. She is rude. She is deeming. Her bedside manner is absolutely atrocious. Anytime I have to deal with her at the hospital she acts as if she is gods gift to medicine and will not listen to any parents concerns.

She is a really nice doctor. Helpful, caring and knowledgeable. But because of reception I am switching my kids to another doctor.

Dr. Ogunkeye is extremely unprofessional and her knowledge is very limited. She seemed nice in the beginning but after a few years of seeing her, I quickly realized why I saw so many complaints and bad reviews regarding her. We will not be going back and have found care with a GP instead.

Dr Okunkeye herself is friendly and kind. She can be kinda dismissive if she feels your concerns aren't important. My kids have been here for almost 5 years and the what times are always FOREVER! usually you are waiting 1 to 2 hours after your appointment time!

Her secretary is HORRIBLE! Beyond rude and unprofessional. Complains to ME about the phone ringing constantly. Not only that she has called me on multiple occasions thinking that I'm someone else's parent and talking to me about the child that isn't mine..
My daughter needed speech therapy and I asked for a referral(at her 3 year appointment). I waited 6 months before bring it back up to them that I hadn't received a call, they told me to wait longer that they are probably behind due to covid. I waited and seen the Dr at her 4 year appointment, and complained again that still no call? She gave me their number to call the therapy place myself, I called just to find out they NEVER referred her!! And now that she was 4 she is on the government wait list of 2 years!! So she will be lucky is she gets home by the time she is 6!

Dr.Ogunkeye is a very kind lady. She took on my daughter after our clubfoot diagnosis before she arrived. Wrote me a prescription for a breast pump when I was having trouble latching. Sometimes is dismissive about little things but overall kind and helpful.

I have a daughter who was going to be discharged from mount Sinai NICU and I had called Dr. Alarape Ogunkeye office and asked if they were taking patients, I was told yes and to send the referral. After the referral was send Dr. Ogunkeye denied my child’s referral after asking me many questions about my age and my life. When it was asked why she didn’t want to take my child onto her care, she refused to speak to me on the phone and was telling her receptionist limited information.

We decided not to vaccinate based on years of research, so she decided she doesn't want my child as a patient because she will not be getting money from the government. They push their agenda on you because that's how they get paid. She was rude and when she found out we are definitely not going to vaccinate but we would still like her to be our pediatrician, she refused medical care of my child to my face. So we go to the walk in clinic and since my child is never sick we only had to go there once. If she truly cared about children and wasn't just doing this job to collect a hefty paycheck she would not judge your decision and be there no matter what when your child needs her. People need to wake up. If she's nice to your face its because she is making money off you. Doctors are trained to be emotionless psychopaths . They probably went into training for the right reasons and when they invested so much time and money they just sell their souls rather than backing out of something that doesn't sit right with morals and common sense. Respect to those whistleblower doctors of course, who are not like this one. Zero stars. One day though, we will all have to answer to a higher power.

She is an amazing Pediatrician. They always try to take my kids in need be instead of them needing to go to a walk in clinic. She takes her time with my children and they absolutely love her. She will always give you details of anything going on with your kids and if there is a non medical alternative that she knows is safe and will work she will give you that information. I recommend her to all my friends with kids. She truly is a gem!!!

Dr Ogunkeye was ok from birth until my son was 15 months (developed a personality) and she changed offices. She did the routine exams, gave needles and made sure she had us in regularity to bill the government for a healthy child. In her new office her wait times went to an hour or longer past your appointed time. She only spent 5 mins each time with my child and in that time frame took it upon herself to decide my normally happy, friendly, outgoing toddler who waited over an hour for her and was now cranky had a behavour problem and referred him to a behavour specialist without discussing with us, who have never mentioned any behavour concerns. Out of no where I received a call from this specialist saying my child was referred to her. I did not approve of her doing this and giving out my personal information without our consent. Had she mentioned her concerns I would have given her the assessment of my child from a professional in Toronto (friend of the family who has assessed every child in my family) stating he has above average intelligence and is behaving like a stubborn, intelligent child who was bored. Her receptionist needs to learn compassion, she is very cold and unhelpful. I don't like or trust sneaky people, if she had concerns she needed to take longer then 5 mins and not leave a toddler waiting and talk to the parents not jump to uneducated conclusions our family doctor doesn't even share and he has spent longer with my child. So I strongly recommend you Not entrust your child to this doctor unless you want him or her labeled.
