Emergency departments are a window into the failures of our health care system. I’ve been to the emergency department many times over the years. It’s never been as bad as it is now. Dedicated physicians like dr Chong are a godsend. Cannot thank him enough for caring for my mom.

Despite the emergency department being packed Dr . Chong was thorough, empathetic, knowledgeable and seemingly unruffled. We’re extremely fortunate to have this excellent physician working at Peace Arch Emergency department.

Dr Chong is knowledgeable, calm , and decisive. Listen carefully what is my concern, my family history and explain to pros & cons of CT scan . After meeting , I felt confident, and optimistic.

He was very thorough and did not rush me. Answered all
Of my questions and was very kind and sympathetic. I really appreciated the time he spent with me. After the rushed unfriendly help I received the night before from another eye doctor at Peace Arch I was so relieved to talk to a doctor that cared to help me.

Was thorough and professional and empathetic. I could see that the place was very busy. Could hear another patients family member being rude to him and he handled it very professionally I wouldn't have been able to be that nice . I do not understand how people can be so mean to emergency nurses and doctors after what they have been through these past few years.

Outstanding experience! He listened to our concerns and experience. Explained his proposed approach and appreciate that he accessed available info from another hospital before moving forward. Very reassuring in his manner; not rushed. Very diligent in his approach- looped back after the procedure and brought us up to date. Most impressive.
