Dr Matthews is a special surgeon in wound care at Rush Hospital in Meridian Ms. He has saved many people's limbs from diabetes. I had Necrotizing Faciitis, flesh eating bacteria and presented with and open wound the size of my hip to hip on lower stomach with constant drainage. He restored me to health and is still seeing me after leaving the hospital and checking me every two weeks. He saved a friend's foot. He is a strong Christian. Prayed with us before surgery and tells us he has the tools for the mechanics of surgery but only God can do the healing. He is a breath of fresh air compared to most medical care far and above all others with his caring bedside manner. I would highly recommend him. He has access to hyperbaric care with intense oxygen therapy in the hospital Rush wound care hospital in Meridian. Very thorough care!!!! Anita Rawls
