Dr. Hughes did full replacement surgery on me in March, 2019. I did all the rehab as told. After 5.5 months my shoulder is better than it has been since 2002, when I first injured it. It exceeds my highest expectations. I an 72 years old. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my results.

Dr. Scott Hughes is an Orthopedic Surgeon in Kamloops, BC. My 10yo son broke his wrist. We could not have received better care. He is caring, friendly, knowledgeable and his bedside manner is the best I've ever seen. My son is fully healed and had nothing but good things to say about the whole experience. Kudos to the staff at RIH as well.

Turns out I was getting a hernia repair at RIH recently as well. The lady in the bed next to me pre and post shoulder surgery had Dr.Hughes operating. I got to observe him once again from another perspective. He explained everything in a calming, professional manner - you could tell she was in good hands. And his bedside manner once again was amazing.

Very grateful to have such an amazing Orthopedic Surgeon for my son, and the city of Kamloops.

Dr. Hughes operated on my injured shoulder in April (damaged rotator cuff & torn bicep. The care I received was exceptional. The operation was a great success as I have already regained full use of my arm/shoulder. A+

Dr Hughes performed surgery on my left shoulder on July 5, 2017 to fix a full tear in one ligament and a partial tear in a second ligament. The surgery was very successful. After the normal 4 to 5 month recuperation and physio period my shoulder is now close to 100% normal than it has been for 20 years. I have full mobility and am able to lift moderate weights in the gym at this time. I expect that with further strengthening it will be as good as new. All with great thanks to Dr Hughes and his expertise.

Dr Hughes recently did a shoulder replacement on my elderly mother, and he was so kind and caring with her, he treated her like she was his own grandmother he was so gentle, patient and understanding.

If i could have him for all my medical needs I'd be a happy camper.. very excellent dr.. broke my femur in 2 plc was airlifted for emergency surgery.dr hughs had me up & back to work full time in 6 mths. Leg is strait & I still go hiking
