Doctor Bayfield became my family's doctor last year after our previous doctor changed specialties. She welcomed us for a meet and greet appointment which was amazing. My daughter and I never felt rushed, she really took the time to listen to our medical history and our needs at the moment. Since then she has been an amazing doctor to us, knowlegeble and so kind and loving. She has hundreds of patients, but after seeing me only a couple of times, she remembered my daughter was hospitalized months ago even though we were brand new patients. She asked questions and expressed how concerned she was with that hospitalization. That says a lot about a doctor, when they make you feel seen and important. She answered all my questions ( I brought up several issues and she addressed them all and sent me to follow up exams).I just feel so lucky she is our family doctor, she is amazing! Dr. Bayfield was very thorough in asking her questions in order to diagnose my condition. She was empathetic and caring. The treatment she recommended involved not just medication but certain things I could do myself to improve. She has been my doctor for over 13 years and I have felt well cared for. She is a very knowledgeable medical practitioner.

This was the worst doctor visit I’ve ever had. She has no knowledge of medicine. Talked about random stuff instead of focusing on the appointment. I came in to confirm my pregnancy. So all she had to do was outline what will be next A blood test, ultrasound, etc. But after reading all the books she tells me I’m on a 27 days cycle and ovulated on day 14. I told her I tracked my cycle - CM, BBT, cervix positions, and confirmed by LH peak and progesterone blood test that I ovulated on day 20. She laughed and said oh that’s funny. Then she went on to tell me I shouldn’t get a midwife because it’s not like I’m 21 and if I have a miscarriage I’ll have to pay a lot of money to get pregnant again. What the?!!! This so called doctor should have her license revoked. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND Sofia to anyone. She needs to update her education and read some of the latest research on nutrition and fertility. Otherwise she should stop practicing.

Dr. Bayfield is dismissive of geriatric patients. She is always rushed and never answers questions, It appear no compassion or just too busy.. if you are an elderly patient or looking for a GP keep on looking.. you are sure to do better than this.

I find Dr Bayfield to be very knowledgeable especially since I have 4 autoimmune disease. Normally my appts are always late! But I don’t mind as she is s really great doctor. Although my last visit wasn’t that great. She came in late & then I apparently overwhelmed her with questions! Told to make a new appt with some questions! Oh well I guess we all can’t be perfect!!
