Sadly, I will be switching providers after years of being a patient. I used to adore Musgrave Family Medicine and everyone that worked there. They always made me feel like a person and not just a number. Now, I'm lucky if they know my name. The office staff are extremely unprofessional and condescending. Trying to schedule an appointment is a nightmare. Obtaining test results or any kind of follow up is like pulling teeth. I don't understand why they have a patient portal. Isn't having a patient portal to enhance communication and encourage better physician-patient relationships? I work 60-70 hours/week and travel a lot for work. A working patient portal is extremely valuable, when used appropriately. Any communication is followed-up days later and most of the time, the response is simply "call the office". When I call the office, it's rare that I receive any helpful assistance (or friendly assistance for that matter). Many times, I'm placed on hold or told that they need to relay the message and call me back...and I don't hear back and usually need to follow up with a message in the portal. I've read numerous reviews that mention the office staff. I'm very surprised it hasn't improved. I wish Dr. Musgrave took more pride in his practice and his loyal patients.
