I saw Dr brown 3 years ago so I have thought long and hard about this review. 1st visit i was trying to be upbeat and not let pain ruin my day. He actually made a negative comment about me being 1 of 2 or 3 a year of those people. Meaning I was out of place with a cheerful demeanor. He felt I should have corrective orthotics. It took 8 weeks and 2 phone calls before I was told to come in for a fitting. My bill was over 600.00. They where very painful and created new pain in my legs to the point I couldn't walk for 2 days. I phoned to ask about the pain and I was told abruptly to brake in the orthotics as he told me to brake them last visit . I tried only 1 or 2 hrs a day that made my pain so bad I couldn't walk. I spoke to a GP doctor who was shocked at the length of time it took to receive the orthotics also the 600 plus price. That is on top of the cost of the consultation fee. I had to stop wearing the orthotics because of the pain. I phoned and again was told to brake in the orthotics slowly. At that time I couldn't take the pain and now I am in a 2 year wait to see a Neurologist and surgeon to diagnose why I am barely able to walk now and live in constant pain with swelling and discoloration. I warn you to go ahead carefully and don't make my mistake of trying to persevere in pain in his care. Be sure you ask how much his orthotics will cost or you may pay far more than expected, with little to no recourse . I am not doing well and Dr.Brown lies in his reply. I have never felt the negative attitude of any medical office like I felt there.
I was not offered a post fitting consultation.

This doctor (LOL) is an absolute joke! He was only interested in selling me “HIS” expen$ive orthotics! He was a complete waste of time and money!!! I do NOT recommend anyone seeing him! He does not deserve any stars, however they are required! He is an absolute zer0 in my books!!!

Dr Brown is an excellent podiatrist. I'm very happy that I found him. He is caring, listens and understands, and makes you feel at ease. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him.

I was not pleased with Dr. Brown pushing “his orthotics” on me! I already wear orthotics from a different place. He did nothing to help me with my foot problem. I wouldn’t waste my time or money on him!

Overall, I had a pleasant experience meeting with Dr. Brown. We discussed my issues with foot pain and educated me about what to look for in a shoe moving forward. I requested to have orthotics made and was able to get that started during the same appointment!

Dr. Brown was friendly during my first exam while discussing buying othotics and he gave me ample time for that appointment. However on the followup to put in the inserts he had much less time for me. When he put them in, he didn't realize that they were crammed in at the toes, bending and wrinkling at their tops. How did he not notice this? I incorrectly assumed my feet would compress them and that's how they should be. After 5 or 6 weeks I went back. I waited 15-20 minutes after my scheduled time and then Dr. B. had very little time for me. Perhaps the patient whom I heard him having a good chat with, needed more attention than expected or the Dr. was running late for other reasons or? He trimmed my nails, yay, as that can be hard for me to do, and he trimmed the inserts, which has helped a lot. But when I mentioned both feet had new sore areas possibly from the inserts, he didn't examine them at all or ask any questions but he immediately diagnosed neuropathy and then lectured me about my blood sugar A1C being too high. I was shocked and upset to say the least. He left quickly after although I still had several questions for him. I tried to tell him that my A1C was much improved after going off a med. that adversely affected it for a long time. I didn't get to tell him that I think of and work on my diabetes every day! Is he diabetic? Has he had neuropathy? As that pain is so different from what I was having. I had neuropathic pains in my toes this week 😪. The sore spots n my feet are almost gone now, since the inserts were trimmed. Hopefully they will go away And besides I've had very tender feet for most of my life. I didn't get a chance to respond much at all after his rant about my A1C and left quite discontent. Not sure what to do about followups or anything foot-related...😳

I definitely didn't have a positive experience in trying to get my toe treated with Dr. Brown. I have had a painful bump on my toe for over a year and I scheduled an appointment with him. Two visits later and still the issue remains. Nothing changed. He recommended that I just call him to book surgery if the steroid injection didn't help. Well it didn't help at all. So I called, booked the surgery, and then received a message from the office saying he will no longer be doing surgeries in the future. Very confusing and disappointing!

Beginning with Dr Browns front desk.. Margee was very nice, hospitable and made my visit feel very comfortable. Dr Brown was very punctual. He certainly has great knowledge of podiatry. He warned me of impending pain when freezing and asked many times if i feel anything. He was very gentle and it was absoluetly painless. When removing parts of my toenails and poisioning the roots he again was very concious and asked about any pain. Needless to say I left the office pain free. I expected the surgury to be painful during the healing process but had no pain at all. I was very blessed to find a foot Doctor who cared and true to his word. Dr. Brown was very interesed in my problem and answed any questions I had for him.He even suggested the type of footwear I should be investing in.
Thank you Dr. Neil Brown.
