Dr.Leung did my colonoscopy after my fit test came back positive. Unfortunately she found a mass in my colon. The biopsy confirmed it was cancer. I had to have colon surgery to take out the portion of my colon with the cancer and some surrounding lymph nodes. Dr. Leung explained the surgery and was very positive.. which made me feel less terrified. She’s a very caring Dr. My surgery went well . Two weeks later I got the good news my cancer did not spread to my lymph nodes .. my cancer was gone and I didn’t need any more treatment. She saved my life and I will be forever grateful 🥰

Wonderful Doctor took care of me. Thanks. I hope to see her again for a probable laprpscopic lump removal, if needed.

Dr. Leung is a fantastic surgeon. I went to see her for a colonoscopy and she found a large cancer in my bowel. She did a fantastic job with removing the tumor, she did it laparoscopically, so I did not need any large incisions. I was only in hospital for 2 days and had a very quick recovery. She got all the cancer out and the surgery sites have healed up beautifully. I found her to be a very skilled, knowledgeable, caring surgeon and highly recommend her.

After four years of trying to find the cause of my distressing abdominal pain and other related symptoms, I saw Dr Leung for a colonoscopy. The time I spent with her before surgery was short (during COVID protocols) but she listened to and remembered my history. When she followed up to let me know that she hadn’t found anything on the colonoscopy, she asked me how my symptoms were. When I told her that I was still in pain, she suggested a biopsy to see about celiac and other GI diseases. She was able to get me in for that biopsy very quickly. When all of that came back negative, she called me and had pulled all of my imaging going back four years to look it over. In doing so, she found irregularities that she suggested I see a gynaecologist for. I explained that my journey had started four years ago with a local gynaecologist who told me I was fine and my issues were “all in my head”. Dr. Leung then kindly referred me to a gynaecologist in Vancouver who, once she saw me, had me on an emergency cancellation list for surgery; three weeks later, I was at BC Women’s having major surgery and being put on a whole new medication regimen. I am finally starting to get my life back. I am so grateful for Dr. Leung’s listening, care, belief, and action.

Suffered with Gall bladder issues and after an ultrasound confirmed I have gallstones too large to destroy, my only option is gall bladder surgery which the Dr. decided I couldn't have since I've had diarrhea for some time due to nerve pain. I just spent 3 days in the ER for over 21 hrs only for them to tell me ...wait for it...I have Gall stones. Although they did find that I have an infection caused by the stones and I'm being treated for that, I'm probably going to be there again to play this merry-go-round of getting nothing done. She sent me to the pain clinic (don't know what that has to do with Gallstones), frustrated my doctor and has put me in even more pain from this condition. She has never once since denying my surgery, ever called me to ask how I was doing. If I try to tell her about my symptoms, she talks over me, which makes me fell like she's not listening to what I have to say. What do I do when she's the only (apparently) doctor in Chilliwack that takes these kinds of cases? I suffer, needlessly, and get nothing done. What a fiasco!!!

I have no idea what to rate of her knowledge because she never once in 3 days explained anything at all to us or to our family member who was the patient, nor did she call to update us as we could not visit.

Terrible communication! We have no idea if she knows anything or not. After 2 days of my father in pain and agony from a bowel blockage we know nothing. Not where not what the plan is, not how if or when they will treat it. NOTHING! At a time when no family are allowed to see patients it’s extra important to care for them and possibly inform at least one family member if they are dying or getting better, if you have a clue what to do or not, and if you have any plan at all, what that is. He has sent me several messages to bust him out of there because he does not feel safe or cared for by his Dr. Thank god for a lovely nurse who cares and is doing her best to bridge the gap. I would not recommend Dr Leung, in fact I would drive hours if necessary to find a caring Dr. We have been through this exact situation encore and it was handled very well by a very competent Dr Sawatzky in Penticton. We are stuck here for now, hoping for better.

I had breast cancer surgery and am beyond happy with the results. Her all women surgical team made me feel very comfortable and were all kind and compassionate. Dr Leung was professional, explained the procedure so I could understand and what to expect, understanding and compassionate right from my first visit. I recommend her highly without a doubt. Thank you Dr. Leung! PS her office assistant was amazing. Efficient and very kind.

I recently went to Dr Lueng with a problem I felt confident she knew what course of action to take and followed her advise. Well that was a big mistake because all she wanted was billable hours. She preformed a surgery on me that has made my situation worse and has offered no follow up care. I have completely lost trust in our medical system and the providers.
