Biography
Dr. Rami Majid started his education in Psychology, at York University in Toronto. He then became one of the youngest graduates of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, which he completed with honours. After professional school, he pursued a one-year post-graduate residency at the prestigious University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, focusing on surgery, including implant placement and wisdom teeth removal, on the medically compromised. He then completed a sedation mini-residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Although southern hospitality was wonderful, he decided to head back home to Canada and began working as an associate in different offices to gain a wide range of experience. His travels took him as far north as Timmins, but eventually he landed in the Quinte area. You may have crossed paths with him in Deseronto, Wellington or Northbrook. After several years of work experience, he decided to have a practice of his own and chose beautiful Picton in Prince Edward County as home, where he took over a long established family dental practice in the heart of town. Over the years, Dr. Rami has become a proud member of the local community, often spotted in many areas around town. "After working and seeing what different offices were like, my goal was to establish a family dental practice, in a small town where I could actually know and grow with the patients. I like being part of the community, knowing people by their first names, recognizing friendly faces - it's something you just don't get in the city. I believe healthcare shouldn't be corporate, or franchised. There should be no sales goals or quotas, it should be focused on preventing problems before picking up a drill. This is the busiest, most sought after office in town and there are so many reasons why. Ask anyone around and they not only know Doctor Rami but have been helped by him. Love that he supports the local community in many ways, lives here and you always see him, there isnt a new dentist everytime like other offices. We sadly had to move out of the county, its getting too expensive and its tough on small businesses with lots of staff changes all the time but thas another story. The point is we happily drive from Napanee with our kids twice a year because he always finds the greatest staff. Our kids love the treasure chest, we love the music and i cant believe we use words like "love" and "like" when we are talking about a dental office. I have done lots of research before i decide on someone fixing my teeth and smile because they are the most important things to me and are precious. Dr Rami is well regarded in the community and has amazing reviews everywhere you read and ask about and you can truly tell his patients like me value and take the time to write real authentic ones. I am very happy to have spent my time to write this as his office, his team and himself all deserve the best gratitudes and writeups since they always show such great experiences and are not out to just make money like other dentists sadly are.
