He was the best to treat my skin infection, met him in NMC Sharjah, but when we called the hospital for his appointment last October 2021, he was not available, they said he has left, we are badly in search for him past 3 months, for some dermatology issues. Had a history of ingrown toenails on and off for over 10 years and have often had to endure long term pain. Every few weeks I would have to dig down with nail scissors and try to clip my nail out of the skin, but all I did was to make it bleed and pain worsen. It was always pretty ugly to me. PAINFUL is not even the proper word to say how exactly it feels. I had to permanently quit driving. I was ready to have a surgical procedure on my ugly toe. That's when I consulted the young and enthusiastic practitioner.
 Dr. Sakthi is extremely knowledgeable, he carefully diagnosed and identified exactly what the issue was with my toenail. His calm demeanour really puts you at ease. He helped push all my worries aside by explaining everything in detail in layman terms, hence making everything even the complicated stuff to be easily understandable by his patients. This is where Dr. Sakthi scores...Dr. Sakthi only ever recommends procedures that are necessary, that is what every patient looks forward.
I really couldn't believe how effective it worked and I'm happy to say that the nail that grew has grown straight and healthy. I'm so relieved to have a remedy rather than surgery. Super glad I made the right decision of consulting him and regret not making it sooner. Never had hoped I might ever go for long hikes but it all changed so fast.
Issues with your nails? Then he is your guy.

I have literally never written a review in my entire life, but I felt compelled to leave an honest review about the wonderful Dr. Sakthi Kandan at the NMC.

Still remember the tough times when I first noticed three spots on my face. It was almost 3 years back when this problem came in my life. It made me very anxious as in my family nobody even had such problem. I had previously been consulted specialist who advised me various costly treatment options but nothing worked for me, but Dr. Sakthi Kandan changed all that with a very well explained plan. Now these spots have started getting off with application.

Literally the long waiting time is the only drawback I can think of.

Special mention : Dr. Sakthi Kandan never failed to greet us with a warm and a genuine smile which was so welcoming and reassuring. I did feel the dermatologist was through enough and informative. Never felt rushed in a consultation with him and he always takes time to explain any questions and concerns we may have.

So no hesitation in awarding him 5 stars.
