Luke has helped save my life on numerous occasions. I think he could be tricky to get along with as people may take him the wrong way as he is quite straight forward, however once you get to know him you can tell he has your best interest at heart and genuinely wants to help you. The girls out the front are always courteous and helpful, a really smooth flowing practice. I would certainly recommend him as a psychiatrist.

After reading such good reviews we were very hopeful but going to this doctor for me was a big waste of time and money. Don't think he was very knowledgeable in this area at all and just sort of went on with rubbish. Very unhelpful and found him to be very snobby talking about his children's nanny etc. Didn't pay $600 to her about the nanny.

Professional, personable and our silver lining to a correct diagnosis for our daughter. He is kind and open and has extensive knowledge within his profession. He clearly refreshes his knowledge with new breakthroughs in mental health research thus providing best outcome for his patients. Very thankful we were referred to him.

After reading the post about the client using their Medibank Private cover, I went and talked to them about my cover and how I might be able to claim.
They said Dr Johnson doesn't have any item numbers that you can claim for his office services through them.You can only claim with him as your Dr if you are in hospital. I have top hospital and extras and there is nothing I can claim seeinghim for an appointment in his office. The lady said the client would of got confused with Medicare saftey net. If you are on a disability pension you hit the saftey net limit quicker, which would end up with them getting so much back.

Without Dr Johnson and his expert care, I simply would not be alive to write this review today. He is caring, open, honest and his knowledge and experience is outstanding. I'm so glad I was referred to him, saved my life.

What a fabulous doctor. Has sorted me out and I was a mess! He always runs on time, and I feel as though he actually cares for my well being. Can't reccommend him highly enough, Wagga is lucky to have him.

My life has changed for the better. I able to afford the cost on a disability pension even though I earning 700 a fortnight . With my income plus other expenses Like rent etc I am able to afford Medibank private full cover . So when I receive treatment from Luke Johnson for 45 mins costing $400 I am able to get back 380.00. Then when I am ready to see him again then I am able to 'recycle 'that amount to pay till I see him another time. It is a treatment I have to have and so I try to budget sensibly to get better.

I left the comment on the 3/08/14 cant edit it it was meant to be 5 for helpfulness but it only showed as four :/ I seem to have struck a chord with others saying he was expensive but his appointments are $405 and I get back about $200 from Medicare. As I said, in comparison to my pay ($600 a week) it is a third of the money I earn which I find hard to find sometimes and have to cancel my appointment sometimes because I haven't got the money to pay. This isn't meant to have a go at him, how good he is, or how hard he works but it just makes people aware its a cost they will have to bear if they see him. He is an excellent choice for a psychiatrist and Wagga Wagga is fortunate to have him. His staff are also very kind.

A big thumbs up to Dr Luke Johnson. He has done alot of good work in me . I have schizoaffective disorder and I feel better everyday after being put on the right medication. Without Dr Luke Johnson I will still be in hospital . He had really done great work in me and I recommend him to anyone who has the same or other mental illness. He is NOT expensive and he is worth much more than he charges for consultation . You will never find anyone like him as he is truly the best psychiatrist and psychotherapist . Without him I will never have a purpose and quality of life. My life is changing for the better. Highly recommend him!!! Great work in me!!
