This man actually got into an actual argument with me because I said no to the Covid vaccine and then had the nerve to raise his eyebrows and roll his eyes at me and he didn't like it when I told him he was a terrible human being

Dr. Tomiak is only qualified to treat simple/common conditions such as colds or ear infections. He is VERY sarcastic and rude at times. He concentrates on his "policies" more than his patients. On my last visit, I was in tears due to my decline in health over the last 12 months while under his care. After explaining all of my concerns, Dr. Tomiak was more concerned that I had missed my follow-up appointment by a couple of weeks. I left the office, once again, with no new treatments to address my illnesses. Another $187 down the drain.

I would not recommend this practice to anyone- friend or foe. Je is the reason my mother is dead today. Refused to see her after she missed a few appointments, due to family emergancies causing her to not have refills on much needed blood clot meds, the ended her life at the age of 47.His nurse told my mom she needed another doctor but they would not and could not recommend one to her. She visited the E.R. seberal times before her death for what they call a straddle clot and also o.e and dvt. She was air lifted to roanoke memorial with a clot next to heart that while in flight broke lose and killed her. you all go where you want to- but trust me this man is no saint by any means- and his staff well, when I went to get her records with her husband we were told it would cost us 25.00 per page and 75 per image. We are still in the process of suing this practice for medical malpractice. With enough proof and evidence to win our case- She recorded every call to them and also recorded every visit. Sarcastic- yes- rude yes - and always blaming her illness on weight- but would NOT sign a paper for her to get theropy or exersise much less a nutrion worker to help her with her weight. My mom did not have to die the way she did- and thanks to this man and his office- I now visit her grave and not her. Flowers on her grave should be given to her in person not on dirt. thank you tomiak for taking such a precious life. drugs- no she wouldnt take any narcotics because she didnt like how they made her feel, and he would not give not to her but nurontin when she needed something for the muscle pain and joint pain- not to mention the leg swelling from the dvt and pe she had before . said she needed to lose weight so it would stop hurting . to me 289 lbs wasnt real big and she carried it well. like other stated - this man needs to be shut down. Go to scotty dove or cho or someone else- tomiak dont need to be a dr for anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion cares nothing about patient and the hardships they are experiencing. Only interested in getting part of the “cash cow”. He and the office appear to have policies that benefit them only with no regards for the patient. He is inconsiderate, uncaring, sarcastic and lacking in knowledge when it comes to anything other than a “common cold”. This is my opinion only and would like for others to comment if they have experienced in kind from this physician.

I have been going to Dr. Tomiak for many years and I found him very cooperative and willing to answer questions that I have. He has ordered test that I felt were needed or was very prompt in getting a referral to a doctor who could help me. He has a sense of humor that may come across to some as sarcasm, but I have not found him to be so. I am 73

Does not like questions or to be pressed for answers...Much sarcasm and cops an attitude.

While adept at sarcasm and wit, appears to be lacking in his willingness to assess and evaluate presenting symptoms necessary to obtain a diagnosis. Gives little information to parents and when pressed for answers gives sarcasm instead. Recently brought in my baby and he barely looked at her.

I think Dr. Tomiak is the best pediatric doctor, I have ever been to. He is very knowledgeable and always makes sure you are in and out of there in a very reasonable amount of time. He is completely helpful and explains everything in detail. As for the person that made the other comment, any antibiotic is not going to do anything for you if it is a virus, so why should you expect to get any? For that reason, that makes him a great doctor as well. He isn't just going to give you or your child medication unless it is needed. He is an excellent doctor, and I recommend him to all.

I took my 2month old baby that had stopped breathing that day to him because he had some type of virus and he would not give him anything he just got worst so I had to take him to the E.R.
