Dr. Harkless was caught "red hanaded" by a retired NYPD officer intentionally falsifying medical records instead of recalling a prescription that radiology proved was highly lethal to the patient's condition. Despite emergency efforts by over 80 other doctors the young patient died within a few weeks. Dr. Harkless went to the widower's office a month later and assualted him to try to keep him quite. Overwhelming evidence was reported to the Virginia Department of Health Professionals in an 89 page report. The entire family reported 22 Hippocratic Oath and 18 Codes of Virginia violations after a thorough review by other medical professionals and six civil attorneys. The deceased was a doctor developing programs to eliminate child sex abuse in Virginia.

The ESR test result was 0-30 mm/hr, a negative indication for arthritsis. Dr. Harkless prescripted prdnisone anyway, a common arthritsis treatment. Testing physcians concluded there was no such thing as right temporal arthritsis and concluded bone metastasis with a skull fracture. Prednisone destroys bone density and cancer fighting cells. Dr. Harkless did not stop the prescription. A spinal fracture and death resulted.

Dr. Harkless is a great doctor. If there is a problem he will get you to the right specialist to help you. If he can take care of the problem, he will. He is very knowledgable and does't just guess at what the problem is. Dr. Harkless will explained things in plain English instead of using all of those fancy medical terms. He will discuss with you what ever you want to discuss. He will call you with test results, not the nurse. A lot of times when you call, he will even answer the phone. He is easy going and cuts up and laughs with his patients as well as staff.

A 37 year old lady requested immediate radiology for optic nerve pressure, 8/10 chewing pain, hypothyroidism, spinal pain, shoulder pain, and elbow pain/in-mobility. Radiology was REFUSED. The in-house spinal malnipulation failed to help optic nerve pressure, 8/10 chewing pain, hypothyroidism, shoulder pain, elbow pain/in-mobility, and produced further spinal pain. Something started growing out of the side of her head and she returned for an immediate radiology request. RADIOLOGY REFUSED. He told her that it takes him 21 days to authorize a CT scan then implmented next day chiropractic elbow treatment. In two weeks that something grew out past the frame of her glasses. An eventual MRI showed that the something was a high grade metastasis and she just went 30 days with a busted skull. Oncology responsed quickly with late right temporal head irradition becuase she was within hours of blindness which forced another 3 week chemo delay. Eventual chemo was too late. She died a few days later.
