I recently underwent umbilical surgery performed by Dr. Belay and I cannot praise him and his team enough. Dr. Belay was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, making me feel heard and cared for. Dr Belay is an excellent surgeon who recently performed a bowel resection on my husband who had been experiencing a prolonged diverticulitis flare up over a two month period. During a flare up, the risk of a colostomy is high when performing this surgery. The surgery was successful and no colostomy was needed to my husband’s relief. Dr Belay is very caring and easy to talk to. He explains things well and is open to questions. His office manager Kelly answers telephone messages promptly and facilitates communication with Dr Belay. My husband is thankful to be his patient.

Not sure whats up with all the bad reviews, this doctor did emergency surgery on me July 19th that saved my life and has made my life better. He was professional, thorough, and viewed all my medical records before decided what was best for me.

Should have his medical license revoked. Payed to read off of a script for GOV Ca without considering the obligations and oaths he made under medical practice to care of those who take his medical advice. No research into the damage done by the products he takes paid endorsements for. Shame. Shell of a man.
