Dr Steyn het onlangs 'n diskektomie en fusie van werwels C5/6 op my gedoen. Hy was die vierde spesialis wat ek gekonsulteer het oor my skouerpyn en was die enigste dokter wat onmiddellik die korrekte diagnose na verifikasie gedoen het.
Hy is uiters bekwaam, professioneel en innemend. Sy vriendelike geaardheid en uitreiking na die pasiënt het my beïndruk.
Ek beveel hom ten sterkste aan vir enige spinale probleem.

We loved our experience with Dr Steyn!! He was confident and calm in how he handled a highly emotional situation with our 2 year old. We felt safe and confident putting our daughter in his care. He was clear in explaining the surgery and what to expect. We were confident in his ability to help her and keep her safe. His confidence and calm was reassuring for us! Even after surgery he was faithful to follow up regularly and answer questions we had. We always felt heard and cared for. We will never be able to thank him adequately for the work and time he has put into his craft so that we could benefit from it and our little girl could get the help she needed in an emergent situation. We are grateful that God used him to help us when we needed it most. We will remember him forever and never stop being thankful for the role he played in that season of our lives!

As I write this today, it is the one year anniversary of our daughter's brain surgery and you would never know it as she is as active and clever as ever. Thank you, Dr Steyn, for the role you played in that being true!

I can rate this Dr as excellent!!! The problem is his personal assistant, Chane, what a nasty person, so unnecessary, she made my husband and I feel so uncomfortable, she greeted my husband and asked how he was doing, and ignored me flat, like I'm not there, we were the only ones in the waiting room, she did it openly and purposefully....with the next follow up appointment, she then wanted to charge us unnecessary, extra follow up costs, after I questioned the extra R900 that she wanted us to pay, and only after that she decided that we don't have to pay no more...how can she decide to charge us extra? We will never go back there again because of how she made us feel and how she treated us....we came from far to see Dr Steyn. Apart from her unprofessional behaviour, he is an amazing Dr who performs excellent work!!! I highly recommend him.

Dr Steyn is more than best doctor I ever met. He is a people caring doctor. Since I met him in 2014 up to today, is he even better. He remembers you and your condition, even if it is 6 months or a year later, as if you were in consultation yesterday. He is always available to assist. He is straight forward by telling you what he can, what he cannot do and the reason why he cannot do any procedures. No other dr will ever touch my back except dr Steyn. Although I'm not anymore in Pretoria, I'm prepared to travel to Pretoria to see him when necessary. Knowing what my condition is, I first call him with my problem and he will give me advise or tell me to come and see him. According to me and friends I've referred to him, he is definitely the best neurosurgeon in South Africa. Thanks Dr Steyn for being such a caring doctor.

Amazing neurosurgeon doing excellent work. Thank you doc for fixing my neck you are truly amazing at what you do. Professional, caring and all round a great neurosurgeon will definitely have family and friends referred to him. He explained everything and i went in to theater with zero stress or concern knowing i am in the hands of the best neurosurgeon in the country.

Dr. Steyn is 'n baie baie bekwame neuroloog, professioneel, en altyd vriendelik.
Ek vertrou volkome op hom. My 2e rugbehandeling is op 24/4 onder narkose (discectomy) en ek weet ek is in goeie hande.
Die ontvangsdame Tanya stap defnitief die ekstra myl in daardie spreekkamer elke, dag! Super vriendelik, behulpsaam en baie geduldig. Sy is baie bekwaam in haar adminafdeling.
Ek respekteer dit wat hul albei vir ons pasiënte doen!
