I have had Esther for a little over a year and she is always considerate and if I need a referral to my specialist she is efficient and does her job. I like her and will keep her as my practitioner.

This lady is by far the worst medical person I've ever been to. She was always late, one time not even being IN the office on a day I had a scheduled appointment. She doesn't seem to be able to log or access files or do anything of that sort without her secretary who out of the 4 appointments I went to over a year and a half was always 'out on leave for a few weeks', or at least that was her excuse, she may just be incredibly disorganised either way.
She is also incredibly condescending when I happened to not know the answer to a question she asked me or didn't give her the answer she wanted, always asking the same question over and over with increasingly irritated tone to her voice, insulting my intelligence by saying "Well I'll make it simple for you then..[insert the SAME question AGAIN]", when the answer didn't change since the first 3 times she asked!
To top it off I have social anxiety so I take my motherinlaw to appointments with me to be my voice, and she was completely non-understanding of this and very rudely told her not to speak or to leave the room, which basically made nothing be accomplished since I couldn't tell her what I came there for in the first place. Every time we left it was a "Why did we even bother coming?" sort of feeling.

I moved to my husbands family doctor the first chance I got, and when I went in to tell her I'd be leaving her practice she practically yelled at me and got very hostile, refusing to give me the medical release forms so I have to have my new doctor bully it out of her. Hmm wonder why I'm leaving!?

Over all my impression is that she is just a colossal B-word and does NOT have the temperament, nor organisation skills, nor knowledge to be in the job position she holds.

After living in Sudbury for 10 years without a family Dr, it is so nice to be a patient of Esther Fogarty. She is very kind, and so knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a family Dr.

My daughter went to see dr. e fogarty for the first time after our doctor retired, she made fun of my daughter and when my daughter left dr. e. fogarty apologized. Looking for another doctor.

Nurse Esther is a compassionate medical professional who treats her patients like human beings. She has a range of treatment ideas including therapy and healthy lifestyle changes — not just pushing medication on you (like most of the doctors I've ever encountered). She is honest when she's not an expert in a particular subject, and keeps reference material handy to make sure she and her patient are both on the same page. Sometimes her appointment schedule runs late by 30 or 45 minutes, but that's because she takes her time to address patients' concerns instead of just hurrying them out the door, so I don't mind waiting for my appointments. Overall, I'm happy with Nurse Esther and I wish I could have started seeing her years ago.
