I had been a patient of the office for over 35 years but recently had a major problem. I was urinating excessively, made an appointment. He never checked me after being there for 1 1/2 hours. Said I might have a kidney stone. Had one before and knew it wasn't one. Went home and called again and was still having a problem. Talked to me on the phone but never checked/examined me. At that point after 5 weeks I was still suffering, I made appointment with a new urologist only to find out through many tests I had an enlarged prostate. Long story short... I was operated on today. Very disappointed with Dr. Gellman and will not be returning to his practice.

Unfortunately Dr. Gellman doesn't not inform you that the "procedures" he does in his office are separate procedures and are not covered under the insurance. So BE WARNED that you will get a bill from your insurance and the standard visit now costs several hundred dollars. And they assume no responsibility to inform you that they are doing a non-covered procedure..... VERY DECEPTIVE.

Dr. Gellman is a great Doctor.... when he retires he should open a practice to INSTRUCT other peers how to treat clients.... us! Knowledge & bedside manner is a 10+. The office is as good also. If he had a partner that would be better for more appts.

A wonderful doctor -- does not rush you when you visit him. Always unruffled, great bedside manner, personable and caring. Explains treatment in detail. And a very nice man, to boot. Highly recommend him.
