This is one of the most caring, kind, knowledge doctors I’ve ever encountered. He was my precious moms cardiologist when he practiced in Sydney, NS. I was so sad when I heard he had moved to the HRM. Sydney’s loss of Dr Mc car ville is definitely a loss for our island, and Dartmouths gain. Thank you Dr Mc Carville forall you care and kindness you’ve shown our family! You are truly missed!

Dr. McCarville treated my husband while he was practicing in Sydney, NS. He was always kind, competent and caring in his approach to his patients. His departure was a HUGE loss to this area! Sydney’s loss is definitely Dartmouth’s gain....

Both physiologically and psychologically he is outstanding. I encountered him as an an emergency MI patient at CBRH in 2002. His personal demeanor and approach was a calming and reassuring factor in establishing immediate rapport. He cared for me for some two weeks as an inpatient and followed by stabilization , resulting in successful bypass surgery some months later. I have had follow-ups with him at his office and at all times was courteous, caring and most of all pcompetent in his practice. I have enjoyed fifteen years of a healthy "heart life", always being mindful andx greatful for his excellent care and support. Bob Seward
