I hope that Aaron Heide reads these postings. He is a terrible doctor. I was recently diagnosed with MS and he put me through the ringer. I am grateful for going to him thought, because when I told him I wanted to get a second opinion he sent me to the most amazing doctor ever, Dr. Bowen. If you have MS you should go see him! He’s wonderful and very helpful. Aaron is out for the money, he basically forced me to use every service in his clinic even though it was not necessary. Then his staff got the billing messed up and tried to charge me a fortune before ever contacting my insurance company. After I got my second opinion I went in for another appt with Aaron. This is when he decided to tell me I had malignant MS, which means that if you are not wheelchair bond in 3 months you’re dead.

Dr. Heide seemed very happy that I had found a good diagnosis for my depression and found a pill that worked better for me. I thought that was significant, that he was so compassionate.

I have found Dr. Heide very knowledgeable and, unlike some of the other posters, not at all arrogant. I've accompanied my mother on several visits to his office, and unlike other doctors and nurses we have spoken with, he talks to HER, not to me. Very refreshing. My mother doesn't hear well, and he's very patient with her and makes sure she understands what he's telling her. The office staff is also very friendly, patient and helpful - I've had to reschedule some appointments at the last minute and they are always accommodating.

Dr. Heide's office was highly recommended by my primary care doctor. I too find him to be someone with a big ego or arrogant, as the other Patient remarked. His office did not return my phone calls and I had to call them three times before I was able to schedule the initial appointment. His front desk staff seems unhappy. His Vascular Specialist needs some lessons in dealing with Senior Citizens or with people in general. Dr. Heide also told us that if we did not use all the services that his office offers (ie, physical therapy, nutritionist), that "maybe he wasn't the Neurologist who should be treating us". We were also told that each procedure or service had to be scheduled separately because our insurance company would not pay for two on the same day. His current Physical Therapist is a delight and we trust him. I believe he is the reason that we have not invested the time and effort to find another doctor. Judge for yourself.

I don't usually leave remarks with reviews because I assume no-one bothers to take the time to read them (so why should I waste my time writing them?), however after stumbling upon the only review for Dr Aaron Heide on file with this site I just have to have my say! Oh my goodness, whoever left the previous review on Dr Heide had a complete and utter opposite experience with him than I have had. I have always, ALWAYS found Dr Heide to be absolutely WONDERFUL! I met Dr Heide in the ER about four years ago when I was admitted there because I suddenly lost the ability to walk. I had been examined by a hundred other doctors in the ER that day and no-one had the slightest idea what to make of my symptoms; they'd all just give me confused, scared looks and tell me they had no idea what was going on (and, wow, nothing is more scary than scaring a bunch of ER doctors!). But then they brought in Dr Heide and not only did he quickly diagnose my bizarre ailment correctly, but he did so in a

Aaron Heide seemed arrogant. He made me feel like I was making up an illness instead of helping me find information about a seizure I had. I told him about some symptoms and he brushed them off as if I had been just looking for sympathy. I immediately switched my care to another neurologist - I would never go back to him. I later learned another friend of mine had visited Aaron Heide once and had the same opinion. I do not recommend this doctor.
