I saw Dr. Heide for multiple issues, on of which is a painful neuralgia, he refused to give me medication for this condition or treat it at all as he said I would become addicted to the meds. The medication in question is carbamazipine, which is an anti-seizure medication that also helps the particular of neuralgia I have, and one that you can not become addicted too in any way. About 6-9 months later I started seeing a different neurologist who started me on the carbamazipine right away, within a very short time the neuralgia started to get better, after years off suffering, and after at least 6 months of suffering when it could have been helped with this medication that Dr. Heide refused to provide.

I Don't see how anybody could say that Dr.Heidi is all about the money and that his only concern is how much money he can work out of you.I had a stroke 2 years ago and I had this stroke 2 days before I started a new job.Therfore, I had no insurance to pay my bill.Dr.Heidi was my doctor while in the hospital, and continues to be my doctor.I have only paid him $35.00 in two years because of my finicial problems right now.His exact words where "You are my patient,I will treat you and worry about the money later".He still continues to treat me (very well) and he has NEVER made my treatments or appointments about money. He is a wonderful doctor, and an amazing person. In this day and age, he see's me,not my ability to pay!!!

Dr Heide has been the best thing that has happened to me since I first began having symtoms from my disease of cervical dystonia. He has give me hope that with medication and balanced resting I can manage my disease. Another quality I so appreciate about him is his perserverance! He simply woud not give up. This has given me courage. To have a doctor who not only carse about you, but treat you as if you are more than a number and that you matter, has brought me great comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Heide.

OhMyGosh! I LOVE Dr. Heide !!!! I was in an accident on the freeway with extensive Head and Neck injuries. He took wonderful care of me, was more concerned about me than I was of myself possibly because I was in shock from the car accident. I was free from pain for a whole year, when I found out I had a Nuro-vascular disease and am now going back to get care for this very rare disease of the vascular and brain system. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! He is NOT arrogant, he doesn't care about the money. He cares about YOU!!

Horrendous staff, very disorganized, Dr. Heidi seems very unhappy in the medical field. The office has an Amway feel, they are always trying to sell you another service. He diagnosed my Dad with dehydration when in fact he had pancreatic cancer! Do not reccomend!

He is the best! I do so appreciate the time he has taken with my dad and now my mom will be going to see him. I found him through, had the time to answer questions and the most knowledgeable dr. we have seen. I highly recomment him to anyone needed this type of service.

I was referred to Dr. Heide when an Optometrist noticed some irregularities in my eye. In my case, I am a disabled veteran, on quite a few medications. It would be easy to blame my condition on one, or more of these medications and send me on my way. Dr. Heide seemed genuinely concerned with finding the cause and ordered extensive tests. He did tell me that it can be from my medication, but he wanted to rule out any other cause before he made his diagnosis. As of this time, some of the tests he ordered came back with results that lead to more questions. He has ordered more tests to find out why. For those who claim that he ordered unnecessary tests, I don't agree. I find him to be extremely thorough. For those who accused him of "spreading out the tests" to get more money, that doesn't make sense either. Doctors bill by procedure, not by the visit. Some tests must be performed on different days due to them interacting with other tests (i.e. CT Scans and MRIs with contrast).

I was referred to Dr. Heide @ age 26 after having a stroke during a visit back home. He was highly recommended by the Valley drs I saw due to my "mysterious" condition/young age. I found he & his team to be very knowledgeable, straight forward yet friendly w/ thorough explanations & worked w/ me on a plan. He worked w/ Tricare to make sure I could be seen, after they told me he wasn't covered. Tricare doesn't payout much: LESS THAN HALF the bill & I never rec'd a bill for the remaining amount. I couldn't complete my visits due to the discovery of my pregnancy & went "home" to Ft. Hood. He referred me to drs in TX, sadly Tricare didn't cover them. Since then I've seen some neurologists in TX; no one knows what to do or won't see me because of the POSSIBLE moya moya (valley drs diagnosis) or vasospasms (Heide's diagnosis). Dr. Heidi has my trust. In fact, I plan to make a trip up there specifically to see him. He's the only one that's seen me & offered any explanations or answers.

I too had the same experience with Dr Heidi. He scheduled my test on different days to make more money. Was he concerened about me or the money? God help him. I still do not know what is wrong with me. It took week or even months to get a return call from his staff even after numerous faxes and calls. I finally took a leave of absence from work. I am now at the University of Washington.
