Finally a doctor that doesn't dismiss my pain and illness. She is very good at listening and working *with* you to manage your health and is open to various approaches so as to meet the individual patient's needs best. She is great in regards to dealing with patients like me who have trauma and doesn't write off legitimate physical conditions by saying you "just have anxiety" but recognizes the connection between mental health and physical health. She is very respectful and patient and does a great job of helping you understand what she's counselling you on and never treats you like your questions are stupid. Since seeing her I've been able to manage my health and pain a lot better and I think that's mainly due to her ability to even consider diagnoses and treatment.

I can’t say enough good things about Sara Olson. She is so smart and personable. She dismisses nothing you raise as a concern and makes you really feel that she cares. She has truly made a difference in my health and I’m so glad to have Sarah as my doctor.

I feel very fortunate that Dr. Olson was accepting new patients - I understand we are both new to the area. I felt very comfortable and she addressed my concerns with understanding and professionalism.

I feel compelled to leave this rating. I saw Dr. Olson for about 4 years when she practiced in Vancouver. She was always so lovely and caring. I had post partum issues and she helped me. I do want to make that clear. HOWEVER, i have recently been diagnosed with endometrial cancer and it turns out, 3 years ago I had an US that showed "hyperplasia" which can be indicating a possible cancer. She never even mentioned it to me and never did anything about it. I am now dealing with cancer the could have been prevented. A good lesson that a nice doctor does not = a good doctor. Sarah, you missed this and now the course of my life is drastically changed. You could have prevented this.

We LOVE Dr Olson! She was like part of the family when she practiced in Vancouver. We really miss her and know she’ll be a huge gain in the medical field on the island.
