We have had the opportunity to have Dr. Cooke as our health care provider for our daughter. Things have progressed over the years and we have returned for more support. I have to say that I often go into the sessions feeling like the sky is falling and I always leave feeling heard and feeling hope. Dr. Cooke has an excellent bedside manner and can create a comfortable atmosphere which is so important when you’re already worried and stressed out feeling helpless and like a failure. He has helped with providing appropriate medication and resources for our family to learn and support each other. I highly respect Dr. Cooke and appreciate his knowledge and support especially when there is so little support available through government agencies at this time. I can guarantee his heart is in the right place and he is making this community better for it.

I experienced dropped care for my special needs child. My child was suppose to have semi annual and annual tests done in multiple areas of development and Dr. Cooke did not reach out once over a period of 3 years to let me know. I requested tests based on my personal inquiry in the paediatric journal of medicine and the section dealing with my sons' diagnosis and had requested tests from my family doctor. I found out that my child was on the wrong dosage of medicine which could affect his physical and cognitive development ( for the past 3 years). In addition my son missed a referral for a crucial eye exam that would have been easier to correct at 2 years old and not now at 5. . . the corrective window being most successful with early intervention and set by 8 years of age. Dr Cooke is by the book only and not open to any other health choices/decisions that are contrary to his own Medical teachings.

Unfortunately as a nurse taking my child here, I would rate this doctor as someone that does not understand how to talk to pre-teens.Misdiagnosed my child stating headaches were in her head, and weren't really there..Got 3 further opinions and he was wrong.My daughter is still really sick. He offered zero follow up, stating she would be fine in 2 weeks..no answer on where to take her if she wasn't.

Dr. Cooke is amazing! He got us in very quickly to address some potential concerns with our son. He was friendly, professional and very thorough. He seems extremely knowledgable and put our minds at ease when our other doctors could not. We will definitely be requesting to see Dr. Cooke again if we have any further concerns! We've had an unpleasant experience with one of the other pediatricians in town so it was refreshing to find someone we can enjoy seeing in the future. Thank you Doctor Cooke!

Dr. Cooke has been our pediatrician for twelve years. He is amazing., patient, great with kids, and takes the time to be thorough and explain things. Dr. Cooke identified something that other doctors had missed and referred us for testing which confirmed his suspicion. My son was finally able to get a diagnosis and receive the care and support he needed to improve the quality of his life. We are very grateful to have an excellent pediatrician. Dr Cooke is one of the few people who are in absolutely the perfect job for them. He was fantastic with my son who wasn't the most amicable to being examined and wasn't flustered in the slightest by my kids squabbling and loudly dropping toys repeatedly. He was very thorough in his exam, listened to everything I had to say and explained every reason for checking everything he checked.
