This doctor always seems rushed when your in the room with her, she is always writing in the chart never has eye contact. She is not very understanding if you are a couple minutes late even when there is construction directly across from her office. The staff is always changing everytime you come in you see a new face.

Very fast appointments. Always seems rushed and not very pleasant! Also, can never get in with her when you are sick. You always have to see someone else or you have days to see her. To get in same day when you are sick you always have to see one of the other drs! Also, she is very very booked for a physical. Not very accomodating. And the receptionists are sometimes rude!

Dr. Fuhr is an incredibly smart and knowledgeable doctor. She truly cares about her patients and provides relevant and accurate insights. Dr. Fuhr was determined to confirm the root cause of my problem and she did so with a professional grace. I continue to recommend her and hope that other doctors emulate her practice.

Dr. Wendy Fuhr is by far the best doctor within her field that I have ever had the privelege of knowing. I have been her patient for almost 8 years and while I initially didn't have the need for much medical care, other than routine things, I have become much more dependent on her care, and I do see her several times throughout the year. She is an absolutely brilliant doctor. Not only is she awesome, but she is always on time and I never feel rushed to leave her office. All referrals have been on-time, even prior to their current policy of needing 48 hours notice. I drive over 22 miles to get to her office, as she is located in Collegeville and I am in West Chester. The thought of having to start with another doctor is very scary so I sacrifice the mileage to be treated by this "Best in Class Doctor." I can't say enough praise about Wendy Fuhr. She is extremely dedicated and devoted to her patients. I am thrilled that she is my physician.

I asked this dr if I have to pre-med anymore when I go to my dentist for mitral valve prolapse. The new guidelines from the American Heart Assoc say that you don't have to unless you have certain heart conditions with that. She sent me a slip that says I don't have to premed anymore because I don't have reguritation. When I saw that I thought that was wrong. I went upstairs and looked at my echo results and I couldn't believe it! It says that I DO HAVE regurgitation. If I had followed her instructions I could have gotten a really bad infection and went into the hospital. Of course I called and left a message for her to tell her she was WRONG. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Don't ever just put your health in the hands of a dr. Make sure they are correct and always keep your test results and records to look at yourself.

In my opinion, this doctor is one the worst doctors I've ever placed my trust in. I would not recommend her to anyone. She is probably good with easy diagnoses and simple problems, but not with anything that requires thought. In my case, she ordered the wrong tests, did not tell me it was incorrect until I called her which was more than a week after the test. In my opinion she is incompetent. She orders me to take lab tests, but then doesn't create the required orders in writing and when I arrived for testing; I could not complete my lab tests. I waste over 5 hours between her office and the lab trying to correct the situation and she offers no apologies, but lots of arrogance.
