Dr. Joe has been my family doctor for over 10 years and has always provided the absolute best healthcare, and I believe, best advice and treatment. When I have lab work done he always calls and goes over the results. Once when I was hospitalized for a herniated disc a few years ago Dr. Joe was at the hospital checking on my condition. The surgeon who was to perform my operation had a family emergency and Dr. Joe was instrumental in getting me transferred to another hospital to have the operation.
It's not very often in this world today to get that kind of personal treatment, time and consideration. I'm thankful to have him as my doctor and would refer him to friends and family! Thanks Dr. Joe

Dr. Joe has been my Doctor for over 15 years. I could not have asked for a better doctor or for a more compassionate person who listens to me as his patient and provides guidance toward better health. The service starts however with the staff that Doc has working for him. From the time you are met at the window to check in to the time you are taken to the back your wait time is minimal. I mean like less than 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well and regardless of what you are there for they take vitals (weight, temp, BP, and O2 sat) which I appreciate because it helps me understand where I measure between visits. A confirmation of current medications is done and then Doc arrives shortly thereafter. This pattern has not been the exception but the norm for the years that I have gone to him. Even my sons who have switched to Doc experience the same treatment.
Doc is thorough. He asks a lot of questions about what is going on in your life and what symptoms you are experiencing so he can fully understand what it is you are experiencing so he can make the most accurate diagnosis which is something I want and I am sure that most others would want as well. I am sure the health insurance companies appreciate that they are getting the full amount they are paying Doc for in the office visit fee he receives instead of a doctor who rushes you in and out and who barely spends time with you but yet collects your copay and bills your carrier.
Dr. Joe has always demonstrated to me a person who is compassionate, caring, and empathetic and who truly wants me as his patient to be happy and healthy. I appreciate him as my doctor and I know that I will continue to go to him and refer friends and acquaintances to him. Thanks Dr. Joe.

I am an RN and have been actively working in the field of medicine for more than 20 years. I know what a doctor should do when assessing a patient. Dr. La Bricciosa begins a visit by asking how things are going, then listens intently to what you say. I know this because he remembers everything we've ever talked about. That alone is impressive to me. Dr. Joe, as many patients call him, always assesses my heart rhythm and lung sounds. It has been years since a G.P. has routinely checked these important aspects of my health. I can whole-heartedly recommend Dr. LaBricciosa to anyone, and I have. Those that I have referred have been very happy with the care and concern that they have received. I cannot say enough of this man, this Dr., who has been so kind and caring to me. The many people that I have referred to him, offer similar compliments. and are happy to have found him. E. Kelleher, RN

Dr. Joe tries to push his right wing politics on you. This guy was sued by his own family for malpractice that resulted in his own brother's death! Don't let him misdiagnose you too!

I went to my doctor, Dr. Joseph Labricciosa in Broomall, for my yearly physical. I've been a patient of his for 8 years now. My blood pressure was high and he asked about my stress level. I told him my stress is high due to an extremely challenging group of 8th grade students I teach this year. When he heard that I teach in the inner city, he started on a rant about the problems with inner city kids and kept bringing up the riots going on on college campuses over the election. I tried bringing the conversation back to me and my stress, so I told him that I've been teaching for 23 years in the inner city and I love it...love the kids, but this year is extra challenging. He clearly wasn't listening to me because he only wanted to talk about how wrong the college students were for protesting the election. At this point, my sugar had dropped (can't eat before blood work and I have hypoglycemia) so to end this uncomfortable, unnecessary part of my physical, I said that they have their right to protest peacefully. I told him my sugar was dropping and could we get back to my physical so I could get my blood taken so I could eat. He kept on ranting about how the best person is now elected and that he will do good for US and that if I couldn't see that, this wasn't the office for me and that I should leave. So, in shock, I walked out, without my physical, without my blood work, and with a search for a new doctor who does not put his/her political agenda ahead of treating patients with respect. This man took an oath to treat patients, and instead he put his political beliefs first. When I got home, I called his office to speak with an office manager about the horrible treatment I experienced there today. The woman I spoke with said that there isn't an office manager, so she listened to me instead. She tried to say that it was a misunderstanding. I told her that there was no misunderstanding. Another woman (nurse? secretary?) got on the phone and apologized for the doctor's behavior. I asked if this happens a lot and she said that unfortunately this isn't the first time...it happens about once a month. Joseph Labricciosa is unethical. My blood pressure is higher now than it was when I walked into his office this morning. He should not be practicing medicine.
