I had a terrible experience with Dr. Oyefeso after waiting months to see a pediatrician. He refused to use my son's preferred name, spoke down to us without asking what we had tried in addressing a medical issue, and claimed that 'everyone has a little ADHD' while criticizing my son with ADHD for not sitting still. He told my son that he doesn't believe he loves his parents because of his behaviours. We came to this doctor for help, and left feeling judged, blamed, and defeated.

As another person has mentioned, his last name is Oyefesu. He works out of Orangeville and Hamilton. Maybe other locations as well. The doctor was rude, short tempered and condescending (both to me and my child). He has an extremely old school “shame the kid into the correct behavior” attitude, and told my kid that he “should feel bad about himself!” Because that’s what will help his medical condition. I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor before. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a pediatrician. This guy has no waitlist and one star reviews for good reason.

I've never met such a judgemental and rude Dr in all my life. Spent about 5 minutes explaining how to spell and pronounce his own name, never actually introduced himself to my son. Made us sit in the same room as my abusive ex, even tho id called ahead to explain the situation, yelled at my son and told him he was rude because he was drumming his fingers on the bed, and accused my sonofswearing at him and got in a 9 year olds face instead of listeningto what he actually said. Should not be allowed near children. Seriously regretting not finding his reviews until after our appointment. Clearly in it for the money, literally told me "this isn't about your child's feelings", "he could control himself if he wanted to" and seemed to be more interested in giving us information about medication he could prescribe then discussing any actual ways to help my son.

This doctor sat in our appointment and for 45 minutes tried to teach me how to deal with my previously ADHD diagnosed child. Said her behaviors are due to my poor parenting. After he was done with me he then started to yell at my 7 year old, who after waiting for our appt for almost 2 hours was getting flustered. Then as we were leaving the room he said to me he believes she should be diagnosed with "autism" as she didn't look him in the eye. As I said, he was yelling and belittling her just minutes earlier so of course she didn't want to look him in the face. As we were leaving the office he gave me some ADHD pamphlets????????? He seems confused with his role, is down right rude and out of line. I miss our retired pediatrician.

We had a terrible experience. I believe his name is spelled Dr. Oyefeso. I found him to be very condescending and dismissive. He has limited understanding of special needs and no concept of how to manage children that have been through trauma and loss. He does not listen to concerns, simply forms a judgement and doesn't hesitate to tell you everything you are doing wrong. We'll never go back.
