Dr. Klinkhammer is very unprofessional. Took phone calls and texts while in the room while my dad was trying to talk about his cancer related issues. He was very disrespectful to my dad and didn't respect his opinion and what he had to say. He didn't care at all and all he wanted to do was to put my dad on hospice care so he didn't have to deal with him anymore.

Dr. Klinkhammer is very unprofessional. Took phone calls while in the room with my dad who was suffering. Left the door open of the exam room where we could hear him talking with other patients and once what sounded like a personal call. Gave him too high of a dose of chemo and admitted it was his fault. Pretty much was no help at all once it was determined that my dad was terminal. He ordered a second biopsy which was supposed to go to the Mayo Clinic but didn’t get there until days later. Basically we were told hospice was our only option, they can answer your questions. No compassion at such a confusing and emotional time. He acted put out when we needed to call him the night before dad passed for pain medication, even though he was on-call. Please look elsewhere for a more understanding and caring doctor.
