After a failed pregnancy, and being told I should not try again for a child, Dr. Farber came into my life. Best thing that ever could have happened to my family and I. I have a heart condition that made my pregnancy high risk, but he walked me through the entire pregnancy and never once gave me bad advice. He has come in on days that he wasn't even scheduled to be there just to see me. I had an unplanned D&C that he preformed due to some complications I had after delivery. I was very concerned about everything that was going on but as soon as he walked in I knew everything was going to be okay.He is by far the best doctor I have ever had. As for all the disgusting comments that other patients have made all I can ask is what ever happened to patience. A doctor this great rarely comes along, and when they do if you have to wait a little longer it is worth it!! Dr. Farber keep up the good work and never change! What can I say but Wow! Dr. Farber listened too my concerns, gently asked his questions, ordered tests, shared the results, and clearly explained them. He is a very conservative doctor and I greatly appreciate that as an expecting mother. He also took the time before my last birth to sit down with my husband and clearly discuss risks(with my permission of course!). He is very dedicated to his profession and patients! I hope he stays in practice for a very long time. The fifteen minute wait was more than worth it because he made sure he took all the time I needed. I greatly appreciate that and would wait longer if needed because I now know he is doing the same for other patients!

I would highly recommend to NEVER go see this doctor!!!! I changed to him on a recommedation and what a mistake this was!!! He kept me waiting at EVERY appointment for ONE YEAR!!! One time, his office staff said they could not find him!!! The last straw was a few weeks ago, when they called me one minute before the appointment was to start to ask me if I wanted another date and time because he was running late AGAIN!!! So I left and asked for my records that I had brought them from another doctor (and paid $50 for!) They refused and said it was their property!!!! They want me to pay them for MY RECORDS FROM ANOTHER DOCTOR!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!

Dr. Farber is an excellent doctor. He treats you as he would treat his family members, very thoughtfully and comprehensively, yet conservatively. He delivered 3 of my 4 children, 2 deliveries being very unusual and difficult. He was there the entire time, making sure I was ok and the baby was ok during l&d. He is a dedicated physician and spot on clinically. I feel blessed Dr. Farber is my ob/gyn!

Dr. Farber is the best! He is very caring and thorough and really cares about his patients. He is also very personable and easy to talk to. You can tell he is very conservative in his care, but this is good. I was a high risk pregnancy and he made sure he covered every avenue of care. His staff is a little disorganized, but overall, I would recommend him wholeheartedly.

from the moment i walked into his office, i felt very comfortable. friendly staff, even the lab tech. as a new patient, dr. farber sent me for numerous tests which he felt were important not just because i was pregnant, but because he wanted to have a baseline on numerous items. his friendly manner was comforting while i was in a vulnerable position on the exam table. any time i had testing done, i received a personal call from dr. farber, unless my next appointment brought me in just after the test. i also have always gotten personal call-backs from dr. farber whenever i have called w/ questions or conerns. as for punctuality, all drs run late,esp OBs. not only did i feel comfortable in the office, but he/staff have made my husband feel we were both important components of the visit. i feel lucky to be dr. farber's patient & know that he has my best interests at heart. his conservative approach to medicine coupled w/his friendly bedside manner make for a perfect combo for an OB/GYN.

I agree with the other ratings on this page about Dr. Farber's awkward rude manor and lack of respect for his clients. I switched drs after my first visit. I had to call the office 5 times to have them fax over my forms to my new doctor. I was also told they were going to personally charge me 5 dollars a fax page (not my insurance but me personally). I said what ever it took to get them send in a timely mannor. I told them i had an appointment in 3 weeks. On the fifth call i told them that told them that i had requested this documentation 3 weeks ago and that my appointment was tomorrow! The rude receptionist said that she would make sure it was sent. I arrived at my wonderful new dr to find out FARBERS OFFICE NEVER SENT THE FILES! I called after my visit and told them to not bother sending my results as they all ready retested me. if these morons cant even fax a form on time how are they capable do running a business or delivering a child- disgusting! Thank god i switched when i did!

Being a nervous person and someone that needs clarification, Dr Farber was recommended to me by 4 different women. Within the first trimester I was hospitalized twice and Dr. Farber was there each time. My husband & I found him to be ultra thorough and great bedside manner throughout the entire experience. On a few dr. visits I had to wait a while but most cases I was seen on time. Following 1 healthy pregnancy and sucessful delivery, I have had 2 miscarriages and 1 D&C. All in which Dr. Farber & his staff have gone above & beyond to answer questions & assure my health. Calls from the doctor himself as well as nurses follow-up. His practice has exceeded my expectations and I/we feel lucky that this is the practice we chose.

Dr. Farber ROCKS!!! He truly loves his job and not only cares about the medical items you may have going on, but cares to ensure you are handing things emotionally as well. Throughout a difficult pregnancy, he never rushed me and always ensured I was ok and he delivered my son and for that i will always be extremely thankful for. His staff is very nice and approachable and helpful anytime you need to call the office for a question etc.

I am shocked by the negative feedback. Dr. Farber is amazing. Neither I nor my twins would be alive today if it weren't for Dr. Farber and his instincts.
