This doctor is unresponsive. Talks too much and his talking interferes with him listening. In his "AFTER VISIT SUMMARY" he refers to me as her. I am a 73 year old MALE... Most of the progress notes are INCORRECT and his reference to the timeline for my traumatic work related injury is ALL WRONG... And, he answers text messages while he listens to you... This might be why he can't remember my gender and the timeline and treatment I received for my injuries... And, he is UNRESPONSIVE to repeated requests to resolve the errors in my medical records

Scott R. Sharetts is the worst "doctor" I have ever met in the medical profession. Having post-concussion syndrome, I was seen by this "doctor" 3 times. Each time I saw him, I was not able to get a word out because he would cut me off and would speak over me at every visit. Each visit took only 5 minutes. I don't find that to be ample time when trying to obtain medical treatment for head trauma. His bedside manner is the worst. He thinks he knows it all and in my condition, he is far off in left field. Scott R. Sharetts has released me back to my job where the injury occurred. He wasted my time and now I am working on getting a new neurologist to handle my medical issue. If you have the option to see someone other than him then do it. I went to this man with an open mind only to find that he truly is a 1 star "doctor".

This doctor is deeply influenced by workmens comp and did not seem to care or help with my injury I would not recommend him to anyone.

Horrible - this doctor will prescribe you meds that he should not - he wanted to give me medicine that causes extreme weightless for my migraines when I already weigh 110 and do not need to lose weight - I had two medicines that I went elsewhere and found that worked, but he did not want to give me probably because he was not profiting from them -
He cancelled my appointment that I waited 2 weeks for and was in need and made me wait 5 weeks because he had an emergency, but when I had one I have to wait 5 weeks - they even cancelled my appointment hours before the appointment.
The staff was very rude on the phone yelling at me because I was upset that I was having constant migraines and I had to wait 5 weeks so I was very upset, but they did not care - even after I told them I will no longer see this "doctor" because how I was treated the doctor did not even care nor to call me to see if I was ok - he just does not care.
This doctor is older and I feel he is NOT up on the current practices and technology - the whole experience was HORRIBLE - Horrible - Horrible -

I have been undergoing testing for MS for years and was sent to his office by my new physician. I had already seen a doctor down in philadelphia who confirmed the diagnosis of MS a few years back. When I saw Sharetts, his first sentence to me was "well, I don't know why youre here because you look young and don't look sick to me." I provided years of MRI CDs and reports. I demanded that he send me for a new one to update my file. I have 16 lesions in my brain and I am in my early 20's. He told me that is related to my "age" and that my previous doctor misdiagnosed me. He told me to go see a cardiologist and then told me to see a psychiatrist because this "is all in my head and stress related". But, I'm not stressed.. He ruled everything else out but wasted my time by making me drive 40 minutes to his office to basically tell me to go "eff myself" and see a psychiatrist. I am currently filing a complaint with Lourdes and am also going to file a complaint with the AMA. I don't know how he can treat anyone this way and get away with it. Now, I am see a MS specialist at UPENN, have had MRIs done of my spine and have found that my lesions have now migrated there. Do not go to this "doctor", please. If my story could save one person from the emotional abuse from him, that would be enough for me.

RUN! This had to be the worst doctor experience of my life. There are no exam rooms, they are offices with small desks from 1972. You feel an immediate disconnect as he sits across the desk and asks question after question without waiting for proper response. I was being seen for fainting, seizure like activity, stuttering and confusion. He asked for paperwork that I had and before I could find it was also asking how I much I weighed as well as other questions. Because I was unable to answer in a timely manner, due to brain confusion, he spoke to me like a five a year old and told me to put my paperwork down and step on the scale. He seemed very cold and uncaring throughout the visit. It concluded with him saying that I needed to get all dictations from all previous doctors I had seen in the past year and asked "How do you expect me to help you without that information?" I did as he asked and a week later I called to see what the next course of action should be. In the interim I had spoken to a staff member and they relayed to him that I was uncomfortable with how he treated me. That was relayed to the doctor so when I called, he got on the phone and very coldly told me he couldn't do anything for me and that I should see a psychiatrist. I am still being treated for my condition and have ended up in the care of the Cooper Medical Center due to the severity of my condition. I am not sure how this man still praactices medicine, but I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!

It was my first visit at his office. The staff was great; and wait time was about 10 minutes. First, I work in a doctors office... He had taken me in the back &I walked into his OFFICE. They do not have exam rooms, that was a little awkward.
I had an MRI prior to seeing Dr. Sharetts, the diagnosis being board line chiari malfunction, the reason I came to see him in the first place.
He tried telling me my diagnosis was wrong because I probably head my head tilted during the imaging. Not for nothing but I've had headaches for 2 years after having my son. There is obviously something wrong. I get headaches in the back of my head, to my neck. Im very sensitive to light, often dizzy, horrible vision & most of the time fatigued. Not to mention these are ALL symptoms of my diagnosis. I was prescribed Sumatriptan by my family physician, which he told me to stop because it was unrelated. He told me to use heat on my neck & to call him in a week. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR! I'm beyond upset with how this evaluation went. There is something wrong, and he didn't acknowledge how much & often I have this pain. Not to mention we spent about 12 minutes together. Getting a real opinion else where!!!

Took my dad due to short term memory loss. First visit was fine; staff was very helpful and friendly and we spent no time waiting. Dr. performed cognition test, checked balance and strength and performed MRI right away. Prescribed Alzheimers meds. Second visit, Dr. did not come out from behind desk, performed no strength, balance or cognitive tests at all, even tho I said dad seemed to be worse. Asked dad about 2 questions. We were in office for about 5 minutes. Told me to keep him on same meds for Alzheimers for another 60 days and call him. Not happy.
