Dr. Rothenberg cares deeply about his patients. I have been a patient of his for more than 10 years and I am very impressed by both his technical skills and his empathy. These are the two criteria that I look for in a doctor and he has both in spades. Highly recommended.

I have mixed feelings about Dr. Rothenberg. He seemed ok at first, but during my second baby (delivered by my own Dr, his partner) the nurses at the hospital joked about him being "needy" which I understood after being seen by him a few times. What permanently changed my mind about him was during what ended up being a miscarriage of an accidental third pregnancy. He did not tell me the pregnancy was not viable, but his staff did. He knew my health was compromised due to major surgery at the time and we were considering terminating due to these circumstances. To know this ASAP would have made a very difficult time much easier; he apparently wanted to seem like a hero for terminating a viable pregnancy when nobody else would, nor did he tell my own Dr this information ahead of time. It was very unpleasant and I ultimately chose to change practices after that experience.

I have been going to him since before my daughter. He delivered my daughter, completely fine. Cracked jokes while I was in labor to make me laugh (worked) and I feel very comfortable with him. The staff is great. So nice and I can ask a million questions and they will answer. I actually have an appointment next week.

I have been going to Dr. Rothenberg for three years now. My first pregnancy under him resulted in a stillbirth. At first I wanted o blame him, but after getting two other second opinions from other ob gyns, they agreed that it could not have been prevented. He had the best bedside manner with me during that time. I know doctors are supposed to maintain emotionless with patients but he cried with me when I lost that baby and it was exactly what I needed at that time. He then saw me through my second pregnancy, and was there for me through every little nervous tick I had, and we successfully had a healthy little boy one year later. He called me once on a Friday night to ask how I was doing after recieving some potentially scary test results. His staff is also amazing...the nurses Clarinda and Susan were so supportive every time I saw them. Now that my pregnancy is over, I almost want to get pregnant again because I am going to miss the doctor visits with Dr. Rothenberg!

Two years ago I was referred to Dr. Rothenberg by a friend. My husband and I felt amazingly comfortable discussing anything with him. He was excellent during my "difficult" delivery and we couldn't imagine anyone else there with us. I missed the entire staff at his office when my visits were over. Now we are expecting baby #2 in January. He is just as wonderful as ever and we are looking forward to going through the entire process again with him right by our sides!PS- HIs Laid back sense if humor is what made us most comfortable. We realize this isn't for everyone. It doesn't make for a poor doctor though.

Perhaps the WORST bedside manner EVER! Dr. Rothenberg told me I had to have an ovary removed because it might be cancerous. He also told me I was going to have miscarriage and wanted to schedule a D&C immediately. I pushed to wait. The "cancer" turned out to be a cyst which went away on its own. The miscarriage is my 2 year old son. He gave a painful exam and had no compassion in telling me bad news. DO NOT go to this doctor.

So far I he seems to be a very good Dr and very patient. I do not feel rushed at all and I feel like I can ask him anything and he will provide me with answers and does not brush me off. So far he is the best Dr Ive ever had for a gyn!

Dr. Rothenberg advised me through infertility issues and performed surgery on me. He is very resourceful and keeps current with the latest medical info and advances. I have never felt rushed through any of my visits or conversations with him, despite a busy waiting room. I am comforted by his bedside manner and am also very happy to be in his care. Be prepared to book your annual appointment in advance as the practice is busy! He is polite, kind, and smart, and I highly recommend Dr. Rothenberg.

I find him to be a wonderful doctor. I'm a "nervous" patient and I find his manner very calming. Somestimes there are wait times...but I'd rather wait a little and have a thorough exam than have a doctor rush to keep on schedule.

I love Dr. Rothenberg. I have many challenging reproductive issues, and I now have 2 healthy boys. He's got a great, funny, dry sense of humor. He's fairly laid back, in a good way. He's careful and safe, but not an alarmist. He's done several surgeries on me and I've been very satisified every time.
