I was in a critical botched situation for 4 years, battling for my health. In 2016-2017 I met Dr.Schimd, I didn't know it yet but my life was about to change for the better. Dr. Schmid was there for me. He treated me as if I were his own daughter, part of his family. He empathized with me, he understood all the years I lost dealing with a traumatic situation. Dr.Schimd performed two surgeries on my buttocks. The scars that were left after recovery were unnoticeable to the eye. I was expecting huge, thick scars but no Dr.Schmid listened to my insecurities and he knew exactly what he was doing. The scars came out extremely thin. . He did them under the crest of the buttocks where you can hardly see them! He left me looking better then what I came in.
My buttocks looked deformed pre surgery due to the injections from my horrific botched experience, but Dr.Schmid fixed the deformity and made my buttocks look completely round.

Look, I know there are many plastic surgeons out there but not many who have the heart, dedication, and patience that Dr.Schmid does. He really takes care of you and makes sure to give you exactly what you ask for. He is indeed a perfectionist and makes sure he leaves you looking as perfect as he possibly can; no matter the situation you are in.

I hope that this heartfelt message reaches so many women. That they learn from my story, without any judgement. That Dr.Schmid gets filled with people that are in need of his help. Dr. Schmid deserves so much! I can never gather the words to express the gratitude and love I have for him; for restoring not just my insecurities but my health.

n 2015 I tested positive for the BRCA 1 gene and elected to have a double mastectomy and reconstruction (expanders and implants). I met with 3 plastic surgeons and breast surgeons and the minute I met with Dr. Schmid and his team, it was clear that he was the surgeon for me. His team were the utmost of professionals from start to finish. From bedside manner to care and to the incredible work he did. As a 38 year old woman with 3 young children, I worried that having this type of surgery would leave me feeling like less of a woman/wife/mother. Thanks to Dr. Schmid, I am happy, healthy and a better, stronger woman than ever before.

Just a few months after my double mastectomy, I also elected to have an abdominalplasty to correct a diastasis I had from the birth of my 10lb son and twin daughters. This procedure was done in conjunction with the oophorectomy I was having to remove my ovaries and Fallopian tubes. Once again, Dr. Schmid and his team were absolutely incredible. His work is beyond impeccable and his team are amazing. Dr. Schmid is truly a miracle worker who's attention to detail and care for his patients comes first. He is quite simply the absolute best at what he does!

Dr. Schmid is one of my favorite doctors, and as someone with cancer and Crohn's disease, I've known a lot of doctors. Not only is he technically proficient, he's remarkably attentive and kind. I would not hesitate to recommend him to someone needing reconstructive breast surgery.

I highly recommend Dr. Schmid. He, as other reviewers have mentioned, is highly skilled, very professional, kind, and thorough. He enters the exam room and immediately has a calming influence. It was amazing how much I relaxed just talking to him. He listens, and discusses any concerns, answers all questions, and even patiently waits while you try to remember all those questions you had. I never felt like I was just another patient or that he was trying to rush on to the next appointment. I always looked forward to my appointments. All of the office staff, the nurses, as well as Dr. Schmid are cheerful and pleasant. I had such a positive experience during and following my mastectomy, with DIEP flap reconstruction, that I made sure to return to him months later for him to reduce my other breast to "balance" me out! I would love to work in their office, they all have such positive energy.

Dr. Schmid is a rare find. Talented and compassionate. And a bit of a perfectionist, which is exactly what you want in a cosmetic surgeon. He did extensive reconstruction on me after my bilateral mastectomy, and every step of the way I felt fully informed, listened to, and cared for. I would recommend him to my own daughter. In fact, I have! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars.

Dr. Schmid is amazing. His staff are the nicest bunch and they are there for your every question with the answer, a tissue for every tear and support way beyond was should be done. They helped me take a bad situation and turn it into one that turned out good!!
Dr. Schmid's gives so much of his time and attention and really listens to what a patient's thought, questions and worry's are. His bedside manner is awesome. Place your trust in him and you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend him.

Doctor Schmid is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. When I was facing breast cancer I was terrified and had to get a double mastectomy with reconstruction. He put me at ease by answering all my questions and listened to my concerns. His kind, caring, professional treatment to me as a patient really made me feel I was in good care and I trust him completely. After the surgery his care continued with the same care and understanding, encouraging me in my recovery. He is an excellent surgeon and my reconstruction turned out very well. Dr. Schmid is a fantastic listener. He helped our 3 year old when she had a cut above her eye. I know it may sound trivial but Dr. Schmid's demeanor and bedside manner created a relaxing environment where fear and worry were all around us.
