Dr Prins is an exceptional surgeon. Opetated on my moms fore arm in early September. Great work ethics, explained in detail what the procedure would be.

First doctor in the last few years who does a thorough examination without a device, pin pointing the areas of pain with which I had been having issues with as part of the whole picture instead of focussing on the most prominent complaint only. He also explains my injury by drawing on a black board in a way that I comprehend, instead of switching on a generic video. A complicated story becomes very simple. I thank YOU!

I tore my ligaments badly in my left knee. Dr Prins put my in a knee brace and said it will heal by itself. I trusted him! After long 2 months in a brace, I started Physio. My ligaments healed by itself. He is super friendly and great to be in his office with his super staff. He is a fantastic doctor. 10 Months later I completed my first Two Oceans 21km. Knee is 100%

I visited Dr. Prins today after suffering acute pain with my rotator cuff. After trying various visits other types of treatment I finally got to see him today. I appreciate the fact that he made a plan to see me given his hectic diary.

The pain was brought on after a training session. Dr. Prins took time to explain to me the physics of the rotator cuff and the cause of the pain.

He treated me timeously and efficiently. He is accommodating and very knowledgeable. I know now more about my shoulder pain than anybody else.

Good folk are not easy to come by, but this practice treats you kindly, sometimes you are doing research, or have a fantastic product that can improve peoples lives, it is not always about the sale, but it is for the better of peoples lives, if the specialists come together and promote better procedures at cost effective prices we all win, it is time patients insist on covering for the type of procedures the pay dearly at huge premiums, without any benefits.Let us protect the medical fields that work day and night, to improve our health and curtail medical companies that make millions from SAns. Dr Prins is by ver die beste Orthopedic Surgeon wat ek van weet... en ek weet van baie!

Ek self is al 4 keer deur hom ge-opereer en al 4 kere kon ek terug gaan na my sport(Rugby, Daans, Obstacle course racing ens) so goed dat ek iets anders onverwant kon breek/skeer vir hom om te herstel/herbou. My vrou is self al 2 keer deur hom gesny en elke keer was sy vriendelikheid, vermoe en bereidwilligheid om te help die net beste! Dr Prins is eerlik en sal nie 'n operasie voorstel wat nie nodig is nie. Ek was al 'n paar keer daar waar ek seker was ek moet ge-opereer word, maar Dr het gese dis nie nodig en hy was reg! As dit nie vir Dr Prins was nie sou nie ek of my vrou so goed kon herstel en funksioneer dat ons Suid Afrika kon verteenwoordig by die Spartan World Championship(2019) in Amerika. Ek sal altyd vriende en familie verwys na Dr Prins en ek sal self na geen ander Orthopedic Surgeon gaan.

Wow, hierdie amazing dokter en sy multi tasking teater suster/ontvangsdame/admin dame/comedian Corne is di beste vd beste. Ek dink hulle passie om mense te help no matter what, is soos v my om swiets te eet, haha!
Dr Prins het 2 bible cysts uit my linker gewrig verwyder 2015 na ernstige trauma op di linker arm na a "haarlynbreuk" a amper ampitasie was in 2010. Met dieselfde snyaksie sommer di duim ook gefix wat my kar op geval het en nog nooit weer probleme gehad tot dies arm 2016 weer gebreek het toe ek met a kolf tydens a wedstryd baie onnodig raakgeslaan is ni. Dr Was ni dadelik beskikbaar ni en moes deur a ander dr gehelp word...dit was a gemors en dr Prins het dit 2 weke later gefix.
2017-18 cluneal nerve releases gehad by jakaranda hospitaal onder dr Raath oyn spesialis(net so fantastic in sy veld)en sonder enige besware het dr prins oorgedraf v live groenkloof na jakaranda om di plaat uit my arm te haal in dies tyd as di rhyzotomy sodat ek ni vir te veel kere moes narkose kry ni.
Praat van extra myl loop vir iemand, en dit nog iemand wat regtig eintlik niks v hom is ni.
Hy groet met a ordentlike grip in sy handdruk en altyd a grappie om baie benoude pasiente rustig en veilig te laat voel.
Di praktyk(aka Corne) is op my speed dial!
En syt altyd a oplossing en antw v enige vraag!
Teater is mr a baie scary, damn koue plek hoor, mr met Corne as teater suster voel dit soos jou beste pel wat jou hand vashou langs dai bed!
Mag God julle very very long spaar at di rate wat EK beserings kry en di ou wat eintlik moet golf speel! Haha!

Dr. Prins is in my opinion absolutely the best ortho surgeon point. An absolute Rockstar.
My history my with Dr. Prins started back in 2006 after i was involved in a motorcycle accident which happened in Botswana which left me with a very badly broken left femur. There (in Botswana) i was rushed to a private hospital and received surgery from an ortho surgeon in Botswana. The surgery involved putting in a plate on the left side of my femur. As it turned out the surgery was completely botched, my left leg was shorter than my right, and 11 weeks after surgery the plate broke inside my left leg (it turned out the plate was not the correct one for a femur).
At this point I refused to go back to hospital in Botswana and with a broken femur got rushed to Groenkloof Hospital where Dr. Prins was the ortho on call. I received surgery the same night from Dr. Prins and since then my leg has been perfect. Two years later I went back to have the pin which was inserted by Dr. Prins taken out as I was still racing MX, again perfection, and no problems.
Since then I have started mountain biking, and in 2019 fell in KZN broke my left collarbone, again I came back to Dr. Prins where he implanted a plate into my left collarbone on 4th October 2019. Five days later I was back on my bicycle trainer training. On 6th December 2019 I received surgery again to remove the plate (being a hook plate) it had to be removed. My left shoulder is perfect, and I got back cycling again.
On 7th December 2020 I had another fall this time fracturing my right collarbone, and on 8th December 2020 received surgery from Dr. Prins once again to implant another plate on my right collarbone, once again all is perfect, and against Dr’s advice for me to rather take up Golf, I’m back on my bike cycling again as if nothing has ever been broken.
