The first visit was fine, but all subsequent visits were disappointing.

Absolute worst dentist I've ever had. Very unprofessional! Froze my face so much that my i couldn't even blink my eye however the area where my cavity was (bottom molar) wasn't frozen at all. Startes drilling and I yelled as it hurt. So she tried freezing a different spot...again no wjere near the molar she would be working on. Tried drilling again and still had pain so told her again. She then asked ME what she should do? I'm sorry aren't you the professional? She stuck me with a 3rd needle where the actual molar was this time and it froze in a few minutes. Going through 3 rounds of needles and feeling that awful drilling into my tooth was traumatic. Her assistant was absolutelt awful and has no idea what she is doing not to mention she continually dropped stuff on me while they are working with no regard for the fact that I'm a human. She is very rough and rude. Dr. Chen laughed when I was telling her my eye was frozen and my mouth was not. She handled the whole thing very unprofessionally and I will never see her again. Beware if you need a filling or have concerns as she will laugh at you instead of taking it seriously.

After years of switching dentists because of anxiety, I have found Dr. Chen! I've had my fair share of dental work and this is the only dentist I 100% trust. She listened to my concerns and calmed my fears. Dr. Chen is youthful, lighthearted, and a perfectionist with her work. My kids and I will be patients for as long as she's in business and I don't hesitate to recommend her to friends/family. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Chen and I'm very grateful to finally have a competent dentist that I trust not only to do quality work, but to give honest opinions.

She preformed a wisdom tooth extraction which took three hours for one tooth. She was extremely rough and did not listen when I told her I was not frozen enough. Leaving the office in extreme pain, I returned the next day asking for them to check if there was anything wrong with where my tooth had been extracted because the pain medication she had given me was not working whatsoever, they told me that there was nothing wrong and that having pain was normal. I returned a second time after several days expressing how much pain I was in and was told by one of the dental hygienists that she does not believe that I am in pain. I went to get a second opinion and this dentist told me I had a dry socket which was causing my severe pain and that the hole where my tooth was extracted was not closed properly.

I was a patient of Dr. Ian Bourke for a number of years. I was seeing Dori for my dental cleanings and had no complaints until now. My last 2 dental cleanings were done by Charity and Tiffany and had a wonderful experience and both very encouraging to keep up with my home care. When it was time to see the dentist, I was informed that Dr. Chen would be doing my check up. I waited, and waited and she finally came in. I found her to be very child like and unprofessional in the way she presented herself for meeting me for the first time. I haven't had a cavity in sometime and I have not had any pain in my teeth and my last x-rays were August 2015 and I was told everything looked great. I was told by Dr. Chen that on my 6 year old molar I would need a root canal and crown ASAP. When I declined the treatment I found Dr. Chen to be very pushy and almost immature about the situation. When I was dismissed I felt that I was then harassed by the receptionist about the treatment as well. I took it upon myself to get a second opinion where I had asked them to take an x-ray and was told there was nothing wrong with the tooth. I now feel that they weren't looking out for my well being, but more so looking to make money.

I'm a new patient at Stone Road Dental and have seen Dr. Chen twice. She's amazing at explaining things and takes the time to answer questions thoroughly and makes sure I understand her answers. The cleaning I had was the best one in recent years and not painful at all (like they usually are). Keep up the amazing work Dr.Chen and Stone Road Dental!

I have never been so impressed with a dentist before. I normally go to a specialist for root canals (and pay extra for it) but she did such a wonderful, efficient job that I was almost falling asleep during it. Normally I am a wreck for being so nervous. She also seemed more up to date with techniques. My previous root canals were done differently and some that I had done many year ago by others still have sensation. The one she did only 24 hrs ago...no sensation at all. A complete success. Wow! I can actually say that I can't wait to see her again to get the crown. My nervousness is gone!

There seems to be a bit of new faces at the office but still given the same good service I have always been expecting. Regardless of who I see, I still seem to get the same service. Always good. Dr. Chen can be so funny sometimes and is very helpful in calming me down. She knows when she's talking to an adult and knows when its a child. My daughter loves Dr. Chen and her goofiness but what I admire more is someone who actually shows interest in their job. Great work to everyone at the office, no complaints.

A lot of new faces but all seem to know what they're doing. As long as the work is done right, everything is great. Dr. Chen always does a great job with my fillings but sometimes she has been a bit behind so there has been a wait. Not knowing why but I'm sure there has to be a reason? The staff at the office, hygiene team, administration team and dental assistants all show that they work hard to make it a beneficial visit. Would like to see consistency but there is always room for improvement.
