Incompetent doctor. Does not believe a woman has a right to direct her own care. If you refuse his suggestions — even ones that are not medically indicated and not recommended by other doctors, he will aggressively attempt to coerce you. With that in mind, your options are to stand up for yourself and potentially have your life in the hands of a man who may be feeling vindictive, or to give in. The CMPA is also very powerful. You are very unlikely to see any kind of justice should he mess up or medically abuse you. It isn't worth the risk. Stay away.

Dr Nongauza did my hysterectomy 4 days ago.
Everything went smoothly. I went home the day after with no pain and only minor discomfort.
He came highly recommended by my N.P. He is thorough, professional & very knowledgeable. His staff has always been kind, compassionate & professional.

Had a LEEP procedure done by him. Cervical cone biopsy was painful, and a little uncomfortable, but did not experience too much bleeding or pain afterwards. I was scheduled in for a follow up appointment 6 weeks later, then surgery soon after. Surgery had no complications thus far, and the pain was minimal to non-existent in two week healing period.

Depending on who is working the staff can be great and helpful.
Most appointments run late.
Had a vaginal hysterectomy- and released the next day. Unfortunately was left with one tendon bleeding internally which created a severe loss of blood and resulted in another doctor that performing a life saving surgery to fix the bleed. I understand that surgery has risks- but take the time to do the job right the first time so lives don’t get so disrupted

I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. I can’t believe the health region allows him to still practice. I went in for a standard surgery and came out with a nephrostomy bag because he severed my tube from my kidney. When the ureologist went in to buy a stint in he ended up going right into my abdomen - Nongauza “nicked” that to! I sat for 4 days with a stomach FULL of urine. All he could do was say sorry. The messages I’ve got from people after saying he has done similar things is insane.
This doctor should not be allowed to operate on people anymore.

He has always been compassionate and wants to make sure you are comfortable and understanding the information. I would still have my Endometriosis undiagnosed if not for him, every Dr other than him shrugged my pain away. The first time he seen the cyst on the ultrasound (after multiple Drs said it was nothing) he said "that's endometriosis, I bet if I cut it, it'll show black" and he did the procedure in 2 months. Skip 3 years later and he diagnosed Adenomyosis and performed my Hysterectomy. He's the only one I trust for women issues when you need a straight forward answer, he's honest and even if you don't like the answer, you will find that it was the truth. I didn't find any wait to see him, he calls you personally to follow up on procedures, he makes sure your concerns are fully met. I won't see any other Gyno than him. He's an amazing doctor.

Complainers be complaining...sure I had to wait a bit for him but I found this Doctor very useful and he did not shrug my symptoms and did my minor surgery with lots of care and attention. You can tell he is a busy guy just trying to do his best and has a compassionate attitude. Swift is lucky to have this professional gyno!

He’s an awesome Doctor. Knew when to pass my care onto another doctor in a centre with tertiary care and had my best interest at heart throughout two miscarriages and two successful term pregnancies.

Absolutely do not see this person . Although it has been a year, I can not get over the stress and pain he caused my Mom. Thankfully she was taken elsewhere to get her emergency surgery that saved her life! I feel it is my obligation to warn others of this individual

Terrible doctor. Can’t be bothered to simply read your file before your apt. Never remembered who I was or why I was there. High risk pregnancies should not be referred to him. He will not do simple mandatory testing or go to any length to ensure you and baby are healthy. He clearly is only in the business for the money. Do not go to him, ask to be referred outside the swift area.
