Didn’t like him and his staff. I highly feel Christina Schoenknect who owns Christina’s consignment in Torrington wrote negative review below. She’s a condescending b$tch who forgot to take her bipolar meds. Very nasty persona and badmouths everyone.

I think dr sawula is wonderful. He delivered my son and I had many complications and he always made me feel like everything was going to be ok. He goes above and beyond at my appointments to check my overall health. I would go to him for my primary care if I could!

Awful experience with this doctor and his staff. I was left in an exam room for over an hour before they told me he wasn't coming. No apologies or understanding of the fact that I took time off of work yet had no resolution to my medical problem. I left office in tears and hung up phone in tears as well when trying to get a phone conversation with him. Office staff was incredibly rude. Would never recommend this office to anyone.

Dr Sawula diagnosed me with PCOS and when I asked what that was and the treatments for it, he told me to look it up online. When I later confronted him about it, he denied saying it. That was a long time ago and I still haven't forgotten about it and how he made me feel.

I can't imagine the comments here to be the true .. Dr. sawula has been my doctor for 8 yrs he delivered both my boys he is the most caring and understanding Doctor ..I think we forget at time that doctors are human too.. they can only can be as truthful as can be. he has high standers in my book.

He has been my doctor for 20 years now and delivered my first, third and fifth child. His partner delivered my second and forth child. They are both very helpful. He has never been rude to me and always answers any questions that I have. He is through and very helpful. I will never change doctors unless he retires. Then I will have to find out where he lives and go see him there.

Dr. Sawula delivered two of my children and I have been a patient for about 25 years. I have seen him a little rushed at times but the man delivers babies for gosh sakes. They don't always fit in the routine schedule of any given day. I also don't put my doctor in a "God" position. They all can make mistakes. He has been extremely thorough as far as my family history and made me aware of risk factors I have outside of his specialized area. I think he is an excellent doctor and if I could only choose to keep one of my current doctors forever, it would be him. Warm and fuzzy is fine but competent is what I am looking for.

The staff is nice and helpful. But dr sawula seemed irritated by my questions. As a first time mom I have a lot of questions and concerns but I was afraid of asking him questions because he would make me feel as though my questions were silly and would answered me sarcastically. It seemed to me like he never read my chart because he never remembered my concerns. He was never on time, I would have to wait long periods to see him and then he would just walk in for 5 minutes. I always felt rushed by him when expressing my concerns. Overall I would say that I have seen worst doctors than him but he is definitely not the best out there.

He is the worst doctor I have ever gone to. He won't take any time to answer any questions at the appointment, and tells you to call him on the phone if you have any questions. Then, when you call the office with questions, they say you have to make another appointment. They are always running at least a half hour late. The doctor is very impersonal, and seems irritated if you have simple questions about birth control pills, etc. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
