Dr. Mitchell went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during a recent procedure. Her and the nurse present were personable and made sure I had full control the entire time. I really appreciate what they’ve done for me!

I had a wonderful experience and am happy to go back. Dr Mitchell put my anxious mind at ease. She was comforting, and very knowledgeable. She answered any questions I had and explained everything that was happening in great detail. I highly recommend her! Wonderful doctor!

I wish i could leave 5 stars across the board but that wouldn't be honest. My main issues are with the front desk staff who seems to always be very busy (fine) and brusque (ok) but leans into rude (not ok) and has a pretty rough tone in messages and on calls. Have occasionally had to wait a long time to get in but not often. Those complaints aside I adore Dr. Mitchell, she has a tremendous calm steady nature that serves her patients so well. Clearly confident and highly knowledgeable without being snide or condescending, she is open and clear and kind. Very grateful to have her as part of my care team.

She saved my life! Back in December 2013, I found out I had a 34 cm cyst on my left ovary. By the time Feb 2014, I had to leave work because I could no longer walk because this cyst was pushing my stomach out so much. I had to lay in bed for two weeks, and I hardly ate or drank anything. One morning I woke up and I could no longer deal with the pain because the doctors here kept sending me home. So I asked my mom to bring me to Prince George, and as soon as I got there they had me in the ER within not even 10 minutes. They had a few doctors asses me, and they called for Dr Mitchell right away. As soon as she started assessing me, she figured out what was going on and admitted me right away. I had emergency surgery the next day. She said if I waited another day, it would have burst and I probably could have died. She saved my life, and she helped me right away when no other doctor would. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Mitchell has done both of my c-sections. Healed beautifully with no complications. I'm 12 months PP from my last c-section and you can hardly see my c-section scar, even though I've had 2! She does amazing work!

Kind, professional, listens well. Unfortunately not knowledgeable about my needs but I have something that is very limited on proper research so not totally her fault. Was hoping for some out of the box thoughts.

Excellent OB! She came in and saved mine and my unborn child's life during a very long traumatic birth. She came in the middle of the night and was very calm and knowledgeable. She saved the day and really I owe her everything. She has a nice personality and is easy to get along with. I needed significant repairs after delivery and she was very helpful in giving good clear instructions for after care. 5 stars - highly recommend!

She is super kind, knowledgeable and very thorough. I had a surgery performed by her and she was amazing. I wish she was my GP! Highly recommended, I hope Prince George can have her for her entire career!
