Probably one of the best doctors in Niagara region.. you would be hard pressed finding a better, more understanding doctor than Derksen.
I have never met a doctor in my life that actually listens to his patients so well, and describes everything for what it is, tells you how it is no B.S..
He also doesnt act like he is better than you, he treats you like an equal. I could go on all day about the positive qualities he possesses, just an all around amazing human being and Doctor..

Easily one of the best doctors in St. Catharines/Niagara region. A lot of doctors could learn a thing or two from him, he treats his patients with care, respect, and dignity. He has easily saved hundreds of lives through the work he does, and if it wasn't for doctors like him, so many could be in a horrible place, if not dead. Thank you for who you are and the work you do Doctor Derksen!

Doctor Derksen is the best doctor I have ever had the extreme pleasure of being a patient of. I couldn't justify this mans empathy, understanding, and care for his patients through words alone. He is always willing to help in any way he can, he always listens to everything you have to say (which is a rare quality among doctors), and he is very good at what he does.
If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be nearly as successful in life as I am now, he has helped me become the person I am today.

Dr. Derksen is an amazing doctor in his chosen field. I would not be alive today if it wasn't for him. He treats me with respect and shows no judgement at all. He always makes sure that I feel like I am in control of my treatment, but also makes sure I am aware of my boundaries. I don't know who thinks he is afraid of his patients because he shows no fear towards me and I am a mean person. He is simply trying to make sure that he doesn't lose you to the streets again because he knows how fragile the line is between sobriety and getting high. He may not be for everyone, but I could never be clean for 6 years without him. Thank you Dr. D.

Dr. Derkson is a kind and mindful doctor, he treats his patients with respect and honesty. He truly helped me get my life back on track, I would recommend his services to anyone in need. He will treat you like a human being, not a drug addicted outcast. PS he DOES NOT give patients "whatever" they want, he gives what'
s needed and will take away if abused.
