Dr Snow is pretty cool, I’ve had eye problems for as long as I can remember and when I became an adult I decided that my eyes weren’t a problem anymore. Side note: they were in fact still a problem. My GP ended up recommending her because I was seeing weird spots and lights in my vision. She didn’t hesitate to give me a referral to see an ophthalmologist which is very reassuring because it’s extremely challenging to get a referral within the Nova Scotia health system. Dr Snow was extremely patient and she allowed me to ask questions. She responded without judgement and explained her answers in a way that didn’t make me feel stupid. She is very kind and seems like she genuinely enjoys her job. I go for my Cataract surgery on the 23rd of March and I think the only thing that could make my experience better is if she was the one operating on my eye. Super thankful that she took me seriously.

This may or may not be relevant to the reader but I feel like it’s worth noting that I am a member of the Trans community. Dr Snow respected my preferred name and pronouns. She treated me with respect and kindness and didn’t allow the fact that I am Trans to cloud her judgement or hinder my care. She is a great doctor.

Dr. Snow is very knowledgeable, she listens, explains everything, and is very kind and compassionate. She is our family Optometrist, I would highly recommend her.

I went to see Dr. Snow at the Tacoma office and she was wonderful, great knowledge and a pleasant personality to make the appointment fly by. She listened to my concerns with interest and answered all my questions in clear understandable language.
