I'm not quite sure where all these superb reviews are coming from. Each time I see Dr. Gallentine she proceeds to ask me the same questions-regarding what I'm doing in my life, my current medications, etc. It does not seem as though she takes the time to look over the file - that she spends the majority of the session writing in- before we meet. However, I will say that in certain respects she does listen to the patient and attempts to work with them on what they need. I also don't find her to be sarcastic or smug, just a bit quieter than others. She is still respectful and nice. I just feel that I am another number as opposed to an actual person. Overall, I would not really recommend Dr. Gallentine. It seems to be she cares more about psychiatry as a business rather than her clients.

Dr. Gallentine was never prepared for our appointments and asked questions about my meds each visit while that information was in the file in her lap. She acted in a harsh, cold manner and seemed smug as she scolded me. Her manner was condescending and unsympathetic. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Gallentine is great. All my needs are being met in therapy. Dr Gallentine is helping me so much. I have had other Doctors in the past, and none compare. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Gallentine is absolutely wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She always makes me feel extremely comfortable and she never comes across as judgmental, cold or clinical. On the contrary, she is very warm and open and I feel very secure speaking with her about very difficult issues. She explains herself quite clearly and is very easy to talk to.I literally have no complaints.

I have been seeing Dr. Gallentine since December 2012. I was comfortable immediately with her and felt that we worked together to successfully diagnose my depression. She recommended an appropriate medication and it worked without adjustments. Dr. Gallentine's experience and insightfulness and my sense of ease and comfort with her helped me work through some present and past issues more quickly than I expected. I have been in therapy before so I have something to compare to and I highly recommend her. Her front office staff is friendly and very helpful, even when you need to change appointments.

The staff is very courteous and helpful and friendly. I have never had an experience where Dr. Gallentine was late. We had a bit of a challenge in diagnosing my condition but that is part of the science of psychiatry. Once we switched to a few other medications my life became DRASTICALLY EASIER. Thanks to her knowledge and dedication, my life is much better.

Long term patient. Dr. recommended medication combined with talk therapy and it has been very effective for me. Have been on quarterly maintenance visits for a few years now. Previous doctors just prescribed medication and the results did not last.

I've been going to Dr. Gallentine for over five years and I'm extremely satisfied with the care she provides. She listens, is knowledgeable and professional, and shows concern for whatever issues I bring to my appointments. Her assistant is prompt in returning phone calls and passing along information about refills I need. I highly recommend this physician!
