Dr. Dorfman is wonderful! I have been taking my children to see her since my first child was born! When I was a first time mom, she never made me feel dumb or silly with all my questions! She is very knowledgeable! She caught my newborns mild torticolis early on so with physical therapy for a few months my daughter corrected it! She is always caring and happy to see you and asks about your family. Also seems to care about you as a parent (during my second trip to see her she asked about how I was doing with adjusting and sleep since I was obviously exhausted!) I defiantly recommend her! I will be sad if we ever move and have to find a new doctor!

Alla has been our dr. for 14 yr. I am amazed at the negative comments. We were one of her 1st patients and I trust her completely. We started going to her when our oldest was 11 mnths old and 14 yrs later we would never trust anyone with our 3 kids. She remembers my children's names names, allergies, past illnesses and histories. It is a relationship not a clinic setting with her. She is warm, caring, nurturing, and most importantly she is respectful of my opinions on medicating at what point in an illness which not many doctors do. To the people who give negative comments and take your business elsewhere I say good riddance! You won't clog up the nurse line with your phone calls for every little minor bump and bruise or cough or you drag your child in to see the doctor.

Dr. Dorfman is a very good doctor. My children love her! She speaks warmly to them, but firm when she needs to be...there is nothing wrong with that. Not only does Dr. Dorfman give excellent care to her patients but she keeps an eye on the parents too. I appreciate all of her coaching when I became a mom for the first time. The nurses are very helpful when we call in for help. I wish they wore nametags in the office though. But back to Dr. Dorfman, there is no doubt about it, I recommend her to anyone. She gives my kids thorough checkups, which is most important.

I have to agree with the other post, Dr. Dorfman is rude, and does NOT know how to handle children. I've been in the office for several months for my child with the same symptoms, and she kept telling me she was fine, go back the next time, she's fine, go again and she tells me she has pneumonia, then had the nerve to ask me why I didn't bring her in sooner (hello we've been here 3 times), then while on breathing treatments she comes in yelling at my kid because she's scared of the sound of the machine, and is completely rude. This doctor does not need to be treating children when she doesnt even understand them or how to deal with them. I'm glad that all the other post did not go through what we went through. We are changing doctors and I hope everyone else watches for the signs.

Alla Dorfman very bad doctor!!! Serves very badly, my child had problems it has told this all ?? and we of the doctor do not know why it at them, it puts a word for all doctors, each time as I will not ask that she tells it we do not know.

I loved the doctor! That is where i want to start. The staff on the other hand is the most unhelpfull disrespectful people that I have ahd to work with. If they change your appt. time then you should call the patient and I was never notified and when I arrived for my appt. i was turned away

Dr. Dorfman is an exceptional doctor. She and her staff have always provided us with wonderful, skilled, and professional service. Her and her staff are always very accommodating and friendly to both our child and ourselves. Our child was adopted from a foreign country and has had a lot of medical issues and special needs. Dr. Dorfman has been and continues to be extremely knowledgeable about a wide diverse range of special needs. She is a wonderful doctor and person! We love her!

She is the BEST! Dr. D is a wonderful lady. She has a GREAT bedside manner! She has a wonderful way with kids. She sees all four of our children ages ranging from 3mos to 7 years old. I have found her to be extremely patient and detail oriented. Furthermore, she has found a way to see our sick child even when we didn't have an appointment. THIS IS SO AWESOME!! Can't say enough about her!

Dr. Dorfman is an excellent pediatrician. Not only is she kind, caring and good with kids, she very knowledgeable and catches things other physician may not notice. She picked up on what was a minor eye problem with my son when he was 2 and referred us to a pediatric ophthalmologist. The ophthalmologist was amazed she'd picked up on this problem and told us that because of her early detection, we have a good chance of correction and no glasses before he reaches junior high. Had we waited a few years to detect this problem, he could have gone blind in one eye. Amazing! She was also very insightful when our son's kindergarten teacher indicated he was having problems in school. Dr. Dorfman met with us and help gauge whether we had an overly zealous teacher or a son that needed help. She's been a great partner through this parenting process!
