Dr is super abrasive and weirdly paranoid. Run away

I have been seeing Dr. M for years. Jenn the Hygienist is exceptional, very thorough. Dr. M is great at his craft. I have 4 crowns, he has done all of them. They fit great. He stands behind his work.

Just went in for a cleaning last month. Hygienist was very rough, to the point that my gums were bleeding heavily over a day later. Dentist was abrupt and unfriendly. He said I had a cavity that, if left untreated, could imminently turn into a root canal. I just went to another dentist who said the issue in question was not actually a cavity but a gap in the teeth. He said one of the xray photos made it seem like a cavity, but the other three proved it was not; he also said the initial photo was likely a film defect that caused it to appear as a cavity.

great real people, honest, caring, and nice to talk to, the dentist Dr. Medaugh didn t charge for return visits after my root canal. that was nice.
