I sought a second opinion from Foundation Chiropody on treatment for my plantar faciitis after the custom orthotics I was prescribed elsewhere proved to be insufficient (after 8 months of consistent use). Gary is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced and was able to demonstrate what was insufficient about my orthotics: he added some foam adhesive arch & heel supports, and I left his office walking with less discomfort. I went back within a few days to order new orthotics. I have spent several months - July to present - walking with the orthotics. I had to go back for a few adjustments until we arrived at three sets of orthotics that work for most of my footwear (boots, dress shoes, sandals with removable footbed). We had to experiment with the fit of the orthotics in various shoes, but Gary was patient, helpful and had ideas for improvement. I am happy to report that I haven't had heel pain in several months, little if any discomfort in the last few months and reduced stiffness in the last month. I am able to do some distance walking again. I can highly recommend Gary Boardman and am thankful for his treatment of my plantar faciitis.

Recently went to see Dr Boardman for plantar fasciitis. Orthotic insoles were prescribed but they have not helped at all and actually worsened the condition. Very disappointed as I was expecting to get some real help here. Orthotics are extremely expensive but we're of no help. Any one know of any other help I could get.

Our 89 yr old mother had an extreme excruciating toe infection on the right foot for a few weeks that she had a terrible time getting around. Her ankle was so swollen her foot couldn't fit into her shoe. We checked the internet to see the best rated chiropodist in Mississauga and GTA. Dr Gary Boardman is the best choice we have ever made.
Dr Gary diagnosed and treated the infection just in time to prevent major surgery or worse. There are other issues as any other 89 yr old might have, but he eventually got around to treating most of them.
Now she has regular 6 week checkups with Dr Gary. Since then she wears orthotics that helps her greatly with her mobility and she just had her foot casted and measured for a custom built brace to prevent further foot/ankle deformity and to help keep her balance. Dr Gary never once pushed any products on us but always gave options. He is very professional and kind to our mother and takes great care first to see what will best work for her.
His instruments are sterilized and individually wrapped. I was impressed and asked about it and he explained the instruments goes through extreme sterilization procedures that require several steps on sterilizing equipment worth thousands of dollars.
We can earnestly say Dr Gary Boardman is the choice you wont ever regret.

I’ve been under Gary’s care for nail problems for the past three years. He is an excellent podiatrist and through minor surgery successfully treated two ingrown nails that had caused me long term discomfort. Earlier chiropodists that I went to accomplished nothing and one actually created an infection on three occasions due I believe to unsterilized instruments. Another fellow I tried was more interested in selling orthodics than treating nail problems. Gary’s practice is clean, spacious and orderly and the instruments are all sterilized. He is skilled, professional and courteous. After 12 years of chiropodist care every eight weeks, I have finally found the one I’m staying with.

Dr. Boardman is an amazing man. He was very gentle and made me feel comfortable during my surgury. During the recovery he was always available for any concerns I had. But most of all he took away all my pain that I have had in my toes for the last 6 years. Dr. Boardman is an angle from up above that has come to care for me.

Dr. Boardman is kind, caring and professional. He is very accommodating and and thorough. This is the first medical professional that has been patient enough to listen to the details of my ongoing foot issue and would go above and beyond to fit me into his busy schedule. He actually took the time to call me after minor surgery on my foot to inquire about my recovery...how many doctors do that! I highly recommend Dr. Gary Boardman for any chiropractic needs!

Dr. Boardman is an excellent Chiropodist and has done wonders with my feet. He is a caring doctor and is very approachable. Opening his clinic on certain Saturdays ahs helped me with my busy schedule. I would recommend Doctor Boardman to anyone looking for a good Chiropodist.
