Dr Hanna is very intelligent .He presents a figure much like Mr Rodgers . You feel everything will go well. However one is only as good as the weakest link ,like his team and it was crazy .The young radiologist and variety of nurses and others all have their own opinions like too many cooks in the kitchen . There is suppose to be a protocol yet it seemed more like high school or a gallows humour comedy routine like BlackAdder . Imagine I am very scared ,having to trust the "specialists "yet 4 times they blocked themselves behind me laying on the table .My thought is "what is going on here" . Once they crawled under the table I was laying on moving me from not being exactly under the cone . Then let us continue this farce by doing everything which takes say 10 minutes to do started with me lying on the table the lead blockings tape to hold my head down then making sure they have accomplished the correct procedure only to then close the huge door to find that all that was for nothing because they could not close the door due to the F-ing table I was on -they never marked off the position of the table on the floor .Or the time after these radial tecs had done all this set up to ,as they are walking out one tecs says "wait I used the wrong cone". Rarely was there anyone who had been there on the initial day when all the so called protocols ie how i was to lay down and where ,where the table was to be , how the cone was to be angled and how the lead shields were to be set and in what order. On my 12 day ,Heather was present who was the at the beginning and corrected the team on that day on for things that was 12 days later and after that new player had no idea what Heather had done the day before . Include printed information as to what I was to do and buy be refuted buy any opinion I was given by nurses on site "Never do this ,never use this ". In my research of this process it was very important that I was be there every day ,for though the beam was only for a very short time it was the accumulated impact of the dosage that would kill the cancer .However I went without this consistent dosage for 5 days then 4days . A point of logic why start this at the beginning of Christmas and New Years .Why not tell the patient the hospital would be closed over these days and it would be best just after. A partner of Dr Hanna called to tell me while laughing that I could go for a week ,That statement was wrong and a second Dr personally corrected it much later .WE ARE DEALING WITH CANCER HERE ,IT IS NOT A COMEDY. This is KGH HOSPITAL ,KINGSTON. MY CANCER IS BACK FROM A 95% success rated .Thank you DR HANNA
