I found Dr Heap to be rude, dismissive and abrupt. It feels like that she does not have any time for her patients and just wants to get them in and out of her practice as soon as she can. I felt like I was treated like rubbish.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Dorcas Heap yesterday (22 Oct '19) and I am not impressed. I found her brusque, condescending and impatient. Unfortunately, it is difficult finding a GP in Atherton and since my Cairns doctor of ~25 years retired and sold the practice recently, I have little choice but to continue seeing Dr. Heap. But I will be seeking appointments with other doctors.

I think Dr Heap is the best. Extremely helpful and lovely to look at.

I've never left a rating for a doctor before but this time I wanted to. I had an appointment today with Dr Heap and found her and her receptionist Barbara to be condescending, unwelcoming and rude. Dr Heap has a poor bedside manner and I feel as though she thinks that she is holier than thou which has rubbed off on her receptionist. But she gets 5 stars for punctuality. The experience left me incredibly disappointed and actually disheartened because I was treated like I was so insignificant
