The worst doctor ever! I had wrist surgery last year and now, because of him, I have nerve damage. Claimed it was an allergic reaction to the stitches, when in fact, it was staph infection. The wound was so big that 2 of my nerves were exposed. Needed a 2nd surgery (from a different surgeon) to close the wound.
He didn't understand ,'this has never happened'. He is very rough and very dirty. When my wound was still open I was at his office and he had just finished lunch. He wet gauze with his cheeto fingers and wanted me to put the now orange gauze on my OPEN wound.
Dr Carlos Montero should not be allowed to practice anymore!!!

Excellent in every area other than wait time. shattered my ulna and femur, broken collar bone, nose and knee. Bad auto accident many years ago. Was excellent surgeon and great bedside manner. Been back numerous times over the years for different things and have recommended others. Everyone has always been more than satisfied.

If you want a good botched job go to this Dr...he will put you in ER with Staph infection.Put a hard cast over his mistakes while he leaves the country. This was worse mistake of my LIFE to go to this Dr..regret it every single day as I look at what he did to my dominant hand. His reaction was "he didn't mean to".Never explained anything and never tried to fix what he did.I almost died because of his negligence and almost lost my hand. Do your homework when looking for a surgeon...LESSON LEARNED!!

New to site. This doctor detroyed my my right leg 30 years ago which left me with a permanent disability and pain 24/7. He left what he called an acceptable reduction and my leg bowed nearly 1/2 inch which ruined my knee. I had a right tibia fracture that was spiked and instead of reducing it, he slapped a cast on it and let it heal. I can only hope that a site like this will help others to stay away from this irresponible "doctor". I have since had an osteotamy and will need a replacement of the knee.

Absolutely the worst doctor I've ever visited. Very impatient and has horrible bedside manner. When asked questions, always claims, "It's normal" or "It will get better". I've suffered the same injury for years, and attempted to send me far from my area of living to simply get his friend, a fellow doctor, money. He also undermines patients horribly - only myself, but others that I've spoken to. From what I'm to understand, Doctor's are supposed to help you and educate you on your problem - he does neither. His work hours are terrible, and when you finally get an appointment - you sit, waiting, for more than 30 mins each time. If you want to visit a doctor, without any headaches, seek another doctor. He is horrible.

Dr. Montero performed surgery on two of my finger joints. He is excellent and has a great bedside manner. My fingers healed beautifully. He made me feel relaxed and was very attentive. If I need more surgery in the future, he is the only one I want to do it!!

Scraped my elbow tendon down as treatment for tennis elbow. Surgery was sucessful, but follow up care was lacking. I had swelling fo months and every time I went back it was a different story "that's normal" "that's unusual" "it will go away" "What did you do to it". Just didn't seem too concerned after the surgery. Nice enough guy, and 10 times nicer than his partner Bradley White.
